This is not my proudest work, but definitely the longest (in this book so far 🤪 10k words). It was really hard for me to come up with a problem, but it was also fun exploring the probabilities of how the ASL personalities would differ in a world that somehow went different for them three, especially Luffy.

The cliff I referenced that will be mentioned later on in this story is the Starsnatch Cliff, one of my favorite spots in Teyvat. Hello to my readers who play Genshin 😉

I can't thank you all enough for the support you gave to this book; this is the first that surpassed 50k reads and I am absolutely ecstatic. However I would also like to apologize for the delay again, because unfortunately my daydreams are not filled with story material, but with ways to comply to my school assignments.

As always, please feel free to let me know of your criticisms if you have any, both good and bad, they're helpful. Thank you once again and I hope you'll enjoy!

You wiped the sweat off your forehead with the sleeve of your shirt, and you relish the success of finally completing the huge circle that you drew on the deck, in the midst of a hot afternoon. It was a portal spell you recently read on a small spellbook given to you by a fellow mage you met on the previous island where the crew dropped by.

Usually, you were accompanied (and sometimes teased) by the three childish members, but they stayed inside of the aquarium bar, refusing to deal with the heat. Only Brook stayed around, relaxing at the swing under the tree. He was always fascinated whenever you practice your spells and magic, so he was one of your common audiences.

"(Y/n)-san, do you feel thirsty? I can fetch you some water, you're sweating so much," He offered, to which you kindly said no. "I'm alright. Don't worry, if I feel thirsty, I promise I'll tell you."

"Alright, understood. So, care to explain the next step of your spell after that?"

You knelt down by the edge of the drawing. "I'll need to activate it first, and..." You quickly took out the book to rescan the page, "I'll know that I got it right when it glows."

Putting it away, you then closed your eyes and concentrated on letting your power course through, flowing out into the deck. You soon heard Brook gasp in astonishment, and through your closed eyes, you could make out bright light from it.

The bright light must've caught the others' attention because you heard the door open and close - seemed like the door of the aquarium, and you confirmed it when you heard Luffy's voice.

"Woah amazing! What's happening, Brook?" He asked.

"Let's just watch and see," Brook replied.

Slowly, you opened your eyes. The whole circle was sparkling and glowing brightly with a golden hue. You picked a single piece of grass as you stood up, dropping it into the middle. It passed through, and you grinned.

"Great! So now all that's left is to see what's beyond this portal," You muttered, and before making another move, you didn't forget to turn to Luffy, saying "No funny ideas. I'll let you try it when I can prove that it's safe."

You saw him flinch, his lips pouting sideways. "I-I wasn't planning to..."

"Yeah, you little sneak. I've heard that a couple of times from you now," You sighed. Taking a couple of steps back, you then ran and jumped towards the center.

However, right when you were still mid-air, the glow disappeared, and you only had less than a millisecond to react. Moreover, the instant you hit the deck, it somehow repelled and made you bounce back upward, like a trampoline.
