Okay, let's just make it make sense with non-existent anime logic; the karaoke machine has their own character songs in it. And also, sorry for the spoiler but Jimbei is now officially part of the Straw Hats as the helmsman (It has been confirmed in the manga long ago but I waited for it to be animated), so I will be including him in my oneshots, starting with this one. Although I admit I haven't learned his behavior and speech pattern that much and might make him out of character, I'm doing my best to study them and improve my writing.

(Y/n)'s song is Compass by Kawashima Ai, the theme song for One Piece Movie 8, which is the Alabasta arc reanimated into a movie.

Despite what plays out in this story, there had been no canon remarks made by the crew about Luffy's singing, and I believe it doesn't actually bother them to the point they wouldn't want him to (If we were to refer to Episode 982 20:00).

Thank you for your continued support and I hope you enjoy the story!

Aw yeah, come on baby!

Brook spun around, dancing as he continued to sing the song.

The Straw Hats held a banquet that night, enjoying the karaoke machine Franky brought. They placed it on the deck and laid out mats and lights along with a little stage, taking advantage of the starry night.

After recovering from the aftermath of the Onigashima War for a whole month, Luffy brought up the suggestion on finally pursuing the celebration party since everyone was in good shape now. So, at the same day, the whole crew prepared for the said party, and fast forward to now, everyone's having a great time.

Jimbei sat by the mast, enjoying the musician's performance with a full beer mug. Despite knowing the Straw Hats' friendly nature, he felt like it was too soon for him to sit down with everyone else when he just joined the crew. It was more out of respect than shyness.

Unexpectedly, (Y/n) walked up to him.

"May I join you, Boss?" She asked politely.

Jimbei looked up with a smile. "(Y/n) (L/n)! Why yes, please do."

"Thank you," She nodded her head. "And '(Y/n)' is fine."

"Then just call me by 'Jimbei' too," He added. "What's the matter?"

"Nothing really, I just wanna make sure you're comfortable here," She replied, and he patted her head. "Thank you, that's so thoughtful of you. But you don't need to worry, I'm enjoying the party."

"I see," She nodded. "Also, I... really wanna thank you for saving me back there, on Onigashima."

Amid the fighting on the lower floors on Kaidou's castle, (Y/n) had been too occupied with fighting small fries when she hadn't noticed one of the Oniwabanshu ninjas recognizing her as part of the Straw Hats, pinning her down on the floor with large shurikens and was seconds away from getting her neck slit open when Jimbei delivered the strongest punch the guy had probably received in his entire life, getting blasted away across the room.

Jimbei then pulled out everything that held her in place and (Y/n) couldn't spare time to thank him when enemies started attacking them again.

(Y/n) bashfully averted her gaze, "I realized I hadn't really thanked you back there."

"You're welcome," Jimbei replied.

To avoid the awkward tension between them, (Y/n) then asked. "Will you be singing too?"
