Attached YouTube link is the song that I've been listening on repeat (Cody Fry is amazing). He recently made an orchestral version of this song but I find it too dramatic for this fic so I used the original one instead. I wrote a point in the story where you can play the song to listen to it while reading for more dramatic effects 😆

I estimated that you would reach the right part of the song to its corresponding scene, however, I'm aware that not everyone's a fast reader. It's all up to your imagination I guess lol.

Although, I miss Wattpad's old feature where you can place songs at a certain point in the story that will automatically play when you're there.

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments, both positive and negative (as long as they're constructional).

Ookay, this is quite a long author's note. Thank you and enjoy.

The rocks were already too close, almost at her calculated distance perfect to launch out the spell. Taking a deep breath, she then yelled out, ignoring how hoarse her throat felt.

"EVERY.....CE...YO......VES!"

Hesitantly, the rest of the crew did as they were told. But ***** continued pounding his hands against the shield, desperately trying to get to her. Tears were already flowing down his face, his eyes shut tight to resist them, sobbing like a child. "No! Don't leave! (Y/N)!!"

"Hey, *****."

The boy snapped up his head, meeting her soft and apologetic gaze.

He didn't hear what she said after that because in an instant, everything went white.

The woman heard a loud gasp from beside her, and in an instant, she was up, fetching the cup of water she prepared from the bedside table, immediately offering it to her roommate.

"That dream again?" She sighed softly, rubbing her hand up and down her roommate's back.

"I'm sorry, I woke you up again."

"Don't worry about it," She shushed as she offered more water to drink. When the glass was empty, she took it away and laid back down on the bed.

"Just go back to sleep. We'll talk about it tomorrow morning."

A few months have passed since (Y/n) (L/N) sacrificed herself for the Straw Hat crew. It was a major tragedy that they didn't raise their anchor for two weeks, spirits too down to bring themselves to sail (and Franky had to repair the damage at the back alone because Usopp couldn't get a hold of himself.)

But time still flows no matter what happens, and they all helped each other pick themselves up, getting emotional when Luffy finally demanded to set sail once again.

It was especially hard for him, her silent words repeating in his head all over again, finally knowing what it meant for him. Though it didn't torment him, or rather, the crew never let it. They understood how it was for him, and so they gave him more patience than ever.

Sanji never got angry when he'd ask for seconds or a snack, he actually wished for him to. Nami would speak to him gently and scolded him less. However, it only irritated Luffy, asking them to not give him the 'special treatment', because they lost her too, and they're grieving as much as him, and he'll understand if they're easier to get stressed. They didn't change anyway.

The sky was cloudy with a small chance of rain, according to Nami, and so they were hoping to reach the island she caught on her Log Pose sooner before it fell.
