I'm probably gonna be uploading oneshots sloooower than I already am, due to me entering the semi-final stages of my last college year, so I would like to apologize in advance. In moments when I can work on these little sideline hobbies though, I'm planning to go all out on my other fanfic on A03 and ultimately finish it so that I can finally published the whole thing in one go here on Wattpad, so this oneshot collection will probably receive lesser attention during the first 6 months of the year (I'm assuming the graduation ceremony will be around July-August).

Regarding said fic, if you're curious, it's about Trafalgar Law and Levi Ackerman getting switched into each other's worlds which I came up from my fascination over their Japanese voice actor, Hiroshi Kamiya my favorite 🫣. My AO3 username is on my profile description.

A snowflake finds its way into your field of vision, to which you hold out your open palm to catch it. It falls right into the center before your body heat melts it into water.

Nami hugs herself with a little shiver, "Looks like we're close to the island now."

On cue, Usopp announces from the crew nest spotting land. You look out from the side of the ship and see a beautiful island whitened from all the snow.

"This is probably the first time I'd get to celebrate the New Year with snow," You muse, and Nami hears it. "I think it's a first for all of us - ah, maybe except for Chopper who lived in a Winter Island before joining. Is there something wrong?"

"Hmm? Oh, no nothing wrong," You shake your head with a smile forming on your face. "I don't really see snow too often especially since my home island is a Summer type so all I experienced before was just sunshine and rain, not that this is my first winter too. I'm just fascinated."

Nami hums, turning her heels. "I should get us both our coats. Wait here okay?"

"Thanks, Nami!" You reply.

A few minutes later, the ship arrives at the island, Franky dropping the anchors to secure it. Almost everyone already anticipated their arrival with donned coats to keep themselves warm, except for one.

Luffy bursts out of the kitchen, still in his shorts and open shirt, jumping and yelling around excitedly like a child's first snow. Of course, the other members remind him of the weather, but it falls into oblivious ears and distance when he jumps off the ship, landing on the soft snow-covered ground.

"Luffy, wait!" Usopp calls persistently, but eventually gives up. "Fine! If you wanna get frostbite then be my guest!"

"I'd rather not have a patient during our new year celebrations, thank you," Chopper mutters, heavily reminded of his first encounter with Luffy whom he found severely hypothermic and with severe frostbite from climbing up the mountain back at Drum.

You happen to hear Chopper as you walk past him on the way to the kitchen for a hot drink, but when your eyes follow his gaze towards the silly captain playing with the snow, you turn towards the men's quarters in. Grabbing his coat, you decide to seek him yourself instead.

He laughs heartily as he plops into the snow and tries forming a snow angel, and your legs speed up a bit. The snow is thick, so it causes a bit of difficulty in walking. "You're gonna turn into an actual angel if you keep exposing yourself into snow without a coat on."

Luffy blinks, before abruptly sitting up and shaking uncontrollably. "W-W-Wait, n-now that you mention it, i-it's cold!"

"That's not something you had to hear from someone else before realizing!" You pull him up, handing him his coat. "You idiot. You ought to avoid doing something like this considering you hate getting sick."
