Thorins POV
"Stay together!" We all ran, trying to get away from the Wargs perusing us. The wizard Radagast is distracting them so we can run across the plains. It seems as if Gandalf has deserted us.
A warg came running towards us. Ori continued to run but I caught him by the neck.
"Ori, no! Get back." His face turned sad and lost."Where are you leading us?" Ulaalsia shouted from behind me. I tried to keep running but I saw we had been spotted.
"Kili! Shoot them!" My nephew shot an arrow straight into the Wargs eyes causing it to fall dead at my feet. We were suddenly surrounded by orcs and Wargs. Several members of the company started shouting at me.
"Where's Gandalf?"
"He's abandoned us." The Wargs started to move in us us, their teeth bared and ready to kill us in a single moment.
"Hold your ground!" I unsheathed my sword ready to defend myself. Suddenly Gandalf popped up behind a rock.
"This way, you fools!" I'm not to happy about being called a fool but I am happy to have a way to get out of this situation.
"Come on, move! Quickly! All of you! Come on! Go, go, go!" One by one they disappeared down a hill that Gandalf had found. I shouted at all of them to hurry. Suddenly a high screamed pierced the air. I jumped down the hole counting everyone.msure enough we had everyone. I heard a thundering of hooves from outside. A Orc suddenly fell down the slant edge and landed at our feet. I saw an arrow sticking out of its shoulder. I immediately recognised the markings.
"Elves."
"I cannot see where the pathway leads. Do we follow it or not?" Dwalin shouted at me. I didn't notice that he had found a pathway.
"Follow it, of course. I think that would be wise." We all started walking one by one but I heard a slap of skin against stone. When I turned round I saw Ulaalsia had fallen, blood was pouring out of her legs and arm. I ran towards and picked her up bridal style. When I peered at her legs I saw she had cut herself when she had been fighting the trolls and she had two arrow heads wedged into her legs.
We continued to walk along the thin passageway until it opened up to a bigger pathway. When we reached the end saw beautiful buildings and running waterfalls."The Valley of Imladris. In the common tongue, it's known by another name." Gandalf said to Bilbo who was in awe.
"Rivendell."
Ulaasias POV
I have never felt so much pain in my life! My legs and arms are shaking uncontrollably and I feel like I'm about to be sick.
I felt Thorin pick me up in his strong hands. When I saw the beauty of Rivendell the air somehow made feel feel a tiny bit better. I saw all the elves gaze upon us as the company walked over the bridge."This was your plan all along. To seek refuge with our enemy." Thorin muttered to Gandalf.
"You have no enemies here, Thorin Oakenshield. The only ill will to be found in this valley is that which you bring yourself. You think the Elves will give our quest their blessing?""They will try to stop us."
"Of course they will. But we have questions that need to be answered. If we are to be successful, this will need to be handled with tact. And respect. And no small degree of charm.
Which is why you will leave the talking to me." He said, his voice started to sound steely and cold. Thorin didn't say anymore, his eyes never leaving me. I looked straight at him and I saw sadness back at me
A tall dark haired elf started to walk down the stairs when he saw us, smiling."Mithrandir." He walked forward and hugged Gandalf. I wonder how many people Gandalf knows.
"Ah. Lindir."
"Stay sharp." I heard Thorin mutter to Dwalin. Gandalf and Lindir started talking in elvish but for some reason I could understand them.
"I must speak with Lord Elrond."
"My Lord Elrond is not here."
"Not here? Where is he?" Suddenly there was a thundering of hooves behind us.
"Close ranks!" I watched as someone shoved my uncle into the middle of the circle while everyone else drew their swords. Several elves circled us before dismounting off their horses.
"Gandalf." A different darker haired elf walked up to Gandalf smiling at him.
"Lord Elrond." That name. Why does it sound so familiar to me?
"Strange for Orcs to come so close to our borders. Something or someone has drawn them near."
"That may have been us." Gandalf chuckled. Lord Elrond then turned to us. I meet with his eyes for a few seconds before he turned back to Thorin.
"Welcome, Thorin, son of Thrain."
"I do not believe we have met." I was shocked at how he was speaking to Lord elrond after he helped us with the orcs.
You have your grandfather's bearing."I knew Thror when he ruled Under the Mountain."
"Indeed? He made no mention of you." He seemed to ignore Thorins rude remarks and went back to talking in elfish. I heard something about a necromancer and I heard something about food.
"What is he saying? Does he offer us insult?" Gloin shouted at them. Gandalf and Lord Elrond chuckled.
"No, Master Gloin, he's offering you food.
"Well, in that case, lead on." Two make elves came towards Thorin and saw me. "Give her to us. We'll take good care of her." He seemed very scared to let go of me but he did. When I left his arms I felt lonely. I brushed my hand against his before blacking out from blood loss
