Later

Thorins POV

"This water is absolutely freezing." Dwalin growled behind me.

"Come on. It's just along here." I grabbed his sleeve and dragged him along.

"Why can't we just go through the front door?"

"Because they're are guards around the house and they'll catch us. Come on!"

Bards POV

"Da! Our house, it's being watched." I heard my daughter call from the front room.

"Da! Where have you been?" My son and younger daughter came running in through.

"Father! There you are! I was worried." She wrapped her arms round me tightly.

"Bain! Get some blankets. We're expecting visitors." My eldest daughter suddenly shouted from downstairs.

"Da...why are there Dwarves
climbing out of our toilet? "Will they bring us luck?"

Ulaalsias POV

"They may not be the best fit...but they'll keep you warm." A young brown haired boy handed me a thick blanket.

"Thank you very much..." The young boy held out his hand.

"Bain. My name is Bain." I grabbed his hand and shook it gently. He smiled at me before handing out the rest of the blankets. I sat down on a large wooden chair, pulling the blanket closer into my body.  I suddenly felt a pair of hands on my shoulder. I whipped my head around to see my uncle standing there clutching a piece of crumpled paper.

"Uncle Bilbo!" He held a finger to his lips.

"Come with me. I need to speak to you about something." I stood up and followed him through to another room which was completely empty.

"Ulaalsia. Tomorrow when we go to Erebor I might not return if the dragon awakens. So I wanted to give you this. He handed me the paper and stood back. I opened the note, folding it out carefully.

"To whomever this may concern,
I am leaving you with the care of my daughter. I'm sorry I couldn't keep her but I am being hunted down. Her name is Alfirineth. Please take care of her.
From"

I grabbed the note tighter, crumpling the edges more.

"This was with you the night you were left outside my door. You're real name is Alfirineth. I'm sorry I didn't give this to you sooner." he whispered behind me. I felt tears sliding down my cheeks. I wrapped my arms around him, catching him by surprise.

"You have raised me all these years. Ulaalsia is the name you gave me so that is my name. And you are my dear uncle Bilbo." I leant back and met Bilbos face. He lips quivered before smiling widely.

"Come on. Let's go and see what the others are up to!" We walked through the hallway until we reached the rest of the group.

"You took our money." Thorin growled angrily at Bard. Where are the weapons?"

"Wait here." Bard ran round us and down the corridor out of sight.
