Next day

Ulaalsias POV

I woke up when I heard shuffling around. I saw the dwarves getting all their stuff and leaving. I got up as quietly as I could.
"Where are you going?" I whispered as I didn't want to wake Bilbo. Thorin looked at me.

"It is clear that your uncle is not coming. If you managed to persuade him to come then you are gladly accepted to join us." I squealed on the inside. "What if I can't persuade him? Could I still come then?" I sound so desperate right now. "He smiled. "Yes you can." I went over to Balin.

"Mr Balin? Can I see the contract please? I have an idea." He nodded and handed it to me. I placed it on the table with ink and a quill so that he would see and hopefully sign. I helped the rest if the dwarves collect all their belongings before letting them leave quietly. I heard shuffling coming from my uncles room so I quickly ran back to my room and pretended to still be asleep. He yawned and poked his head round my door. "Ulaalsia? Are you awake?" I stretched and yawned, pretending I had just woken up from a wonderful sleep.

"Yes I'm awake uncle. Hope you enjoyed your rest." I stood up and went both went into the kitchen for breakfast. He looked ever so happy to see that the dwarves were gone. His eyes suddenly darted to the table where the contract was. He picked it up and read it over once more before putting it down. "Uncle...." he looked at me and I could tell two choices were flying through his mind. "What should I do?"

I tackled him into a hug. "You do whatever your heart tells you to do." I pulled back and went to get dressed. He poked his head round my door with a wide smile on his face. "Pack your stuff. Quickly! We need to catch up with those dwarves."

I couldn't believe him. I ran and tackled him into a hug before leaping up to pack my stuff. I pack all my essentials and met my uncle at the front door. "Are you ready?" I nodded. We sprinted along the paths and down grassy hill. We jumped over several fences and we got a lot of strange looks from people. "Mr Bilbo! Ulaalsia! Where are you off to?" My uncle replied with the childish answer he could reply with. "We're going on an adventure.

Kilis POV

I really hope that Ulaalsia and Bilbo show up. I heard two voices yelling behind me. I thought at first I was hearing things until I saw the two figures bobbing up from nowhere. The entire company stopped to let Bilbo and Ulaalsia catch up with us. "We've signed it." He handed Balin the contract to prove they had signed it. He then rolled up the contract and welcomed them to the company. Thorin grumbled
"Give them a horse." But they only had one spare horse. My brother and I lifted Bilbo onto a pony and he didn't seem to happy about it. I looked down at Ulaalsia and offered her my hand. She stared at it at first until she realised I was trying to help her up. She gripped onto me tightly at first.

"First time on a horse?" I turned round to see her smiling like a child. She nodded.
"I'm so looking forward to this." I smiled back and her and continued to follow the company.
