Chapter 2

Hanse continued to massage my shoulders for about 30 seconds. It was nice while it lasted.

"Alright, as much as I want to stay and massage your shoulders some more, I gotta get back to work." Hanse said before we both waved at eachother and he walked out.

I continued with my work as well...

That is until my boss called me in his office.

"Hello, is there anything I can do for you?" I asked as I walked in his office.

He slid a large folder full of paper across his desk then tapped it, "Can you have this done by the end of the week, I have a deadline." He said not even sparing me a glance before signaling me to take it and leave.

I picked up the folder and left the room, once I got to my desk area, I put it down and laid my head down on it and let out a sigh of frustration.

"You good?" I heard a familiar voice say, I lifted my head and turned so I could see who it was.

I saw the face of my brother, "Hi Jisung." I said before laying my head back down.

"That bad?" He asked as he got nothing but a nod. I heard a chuckle from someone else, I turned to see Hanse along with Jennie.

"Why are you all here?" I asked, "Uhh, Lunch. I came to eat with you guys today." Jisung said, I shot my head up already feeling better.

I completely forgot lunch was a thing until now, I've been so busy.

I stood up and grabbed the things I needed, "Alright let's go." I said with a smile on my face, the other three chuckled at my behavior.

We went just around the corner to a small restaurant, we all ordered what we wanted, now just waiting for it to be ready.

We were all just talking about random things until the topic changed to work, "I wish we had a better boss, but hey, at least I'm getting paid." Jennie said.

"Yeah I don't think he understands that he has to do his own work instead of giving it to Jieun all the time." Hanse said, "If he has THAT much work then why doesn't he just get a secretary that can help with the work load." Jisung asked.

"That's a great question." I said before sighing. "Jieun, I know you said you don't want to quit because you don't want to leave us alone with our boss, but with your experience, you could easily get a better job with a much better boss." Hanse said.

"I know, but where?" I asked.

They all just looked at each other and shrugged. "Exactly." I said.

They were about to respond, but before they could, the food got there then everyone got instantly distracted by the food.

Once we were finished eating, Jisung checked the time and saw that he had to go otherwise he'd be late back to work.

While Hanse, Jennie, and I were walking back to work we passed a couple people talking, I recognized one of them, so I subtlety got his attention without causing too much disturbance to their conversation.

Once he noticed me I waved while smiling, I saw him say something to the other before jogging over to me, "hey Jieun!" He said as I responded, "Hey Doyoung!" I said smiling.

"You didn't have to leave your friend just to talk to me." I said gesturing back to the other person he was talking to.

"Well actually, I'm glad I saw you. You see, that's my boss, his secretary just quit and he's stressed because he doesn't have one at the moment. I also happen to know you have been wanting to quit your job for a while, and others want you to as well because of your boss." He said looking behind me towards Hanse and Jennie.

I turned to see them both nodding, "You want a new job? The pay is really good, my boss can be a little much at times, but with your current boss, that's not much of an issue. He's right over there if you want to meet him." He said almost frantically.

"I don't know Doyoung, I'm quite happy where I am." I said clearly lying.

"Bull shit." Jennie said, earning a glare from me.

"Jieun you don't have to say yes immediately, but please at least meet my boss and think about it. For me?" He said giving me puppy eyes.

I had no choice but to give in after that. "Fine, you guys go ahead." I said telling Hanse and Jennie to leave.

"Yay!" Doyoung said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards his boss.

"Taeyong!!" I heard Doyoung say making the other turn around, I was already thrown off, never have I heard someone address their boss by their first name.

"Doyoung?" He said confused as to why I was there, "Oh, this is Jieun, I think she would be a perfect fit to be your secretary. She's hard working, looking for a good job, with a good pay, and a good boss." Doyoung said sounding a little too excited.

"Perfect, the job's yours if you want it, but if I see that you're slacking off you're gone." He said in an intimidating voice.

"Woah woah woah, already??? Are you even going yo interview me?" I asked, "I don't have to, if Doyoung trusts you, so do I." He said. "Also have an answer by tomorrow, I don't have a lot of time I can waste on waiting for you." He said sounding not so amused before walking away, "He's nice." I said sarcastically once he was gone.

"Yeah, sorry about him, he's usually a lot better with these kinds of things." Doyoung said. "Anyway please think about it, it would make work so much mor enjoyable for me if you worked there too." He added with the same puppy eyes.

"I'll think about it." I said smiling at his cuteness.

"Yay!" He said, "Well, I gotta go do some work before possibly quitting." I said before waving and walking away.

A/N: Sorry if this chapter was fast paced I tried to make it make sense, if it didnt I'm sorry I'll probably end up hating this whole fic and deleting it eventually but you never know.
