Chapter 3

Once I got back to my work space, I started to work on the pile of work my boss gave me, "damn you park jinyoung." I said under my breath.

I sighed looking at the half done work on my desk then at the time, everyone had already left.

I checked my phone to see two missed calls from Jisung, I called him back to ask him for a ride home, I didn't want to walk home tonight.

"Hello." He said after picking up the phone, "Hi, would you mind coming to pick me up, I don't feel like walking home." I said earning a sigh from him, "Yeah, be there in a bit." He said before hanging up.

He sounded really stressed, I feel bad now.

I got all my stuff together that I needed and went out, I waited for Jisung outside the doors to the building.

I tried to keep myself busy on my phone, I just couldn't shake this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, almost like I was being watched.

The feeling started to grow more intense, I was contemplating going back inside the building, but before I did I saw Jisung pull up.

Once I got in the car, I sighed in relief. "You good?" He asked turning to look at me, "Yeah, I'm just tired, and I've been working nonstop all day." I said leaving the part about feeling like I was being watched out.

"You sure?" He asked, I just nodded in response. Once we got home I threw myself on my bed and all the thoughts that couldn't make it in my head while I was working finally made their way in.

I then remembered what happened earlier with Doyoung and his boss, "Hey Jisung!" I yelled hoping to hear him come to my room.

A few seconds pass and I hear foot steps come towards my room then my door opens revealing Jisung.

"Hypothetically if a friend of mine works at a place that had a good pay and a better boss, then their bosses secretary quit and needs a new one and got offored the job on the spot, but you're not sure what to do because you haven't quit your current job, and you only have a day to make a decision, what do you do?" I said earning an unamused look from Jisung.

"Do it, I don't now what there is to think about, it's a good offer and if it finally gets you to quit then its a win win (hah)" he said leaning on the door frame.

"Ok, thank you for your input." I said back.

I reached to get my phone at Jisung left my room and pulled up Doyoungs contact.

Hey Doyoung :Me

Bunny Rabbit: Hey

I have made a decision :Me

Bunny Rabbit: what's your answer? Please say yes

I will quit my job and accept the offer :Me

Bunny Rabbit: YAYYY!!

We texted for a bit longer about random this us before I decided to head to bed and mentally prepare myself to quit.

As soon as I got comfortable in my bed I fell asleep almost immediately, I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock.

I rolled over to try and hit stop on my alarm and I did so, but I fell off my bed in the process. Once I was up I went to get some food before heading to work.

"You look like how every child imagines the troll that loves under a bridge." Jisung said when I got to the kitchen.

So as any good sibling would do I chucked a spoon at him, I expected him to try and fail to dodge it but, he caught it.

"How the hell did you catch that?" I asked surprised.

"I don't know, good reflexes I guess." He said shrugging and placing the spoon back on the counter.

I looked at him confused for a bit longer as he was walking away before shrugging it off and getting some food.

I left for work after getting dressed and grabbing some coffee.

As I was walking to work, I couldn't help but feel excited as it was going to be my last day.

I walked in the building smiling which I usually don't do, I said good morning to everyone I passed, when I passed Jennie I said good morning as I was basically skipping past her.

She looked very confused as she waved at me, I got to my desk and sat some things down and got situated, Hanse then walked in, "Are you ok?" I nodded, "Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Well, you seem very happy today, any particular reason?" He asked, I nodded, "Guess who's quitting?" I let out excitedly, "REALLY?!?" He said with the widest smile, "Thats so exciting!!" He said.

"Are you going to work with the guys you talked to yesterday?" He asked, "Yeah" I said still not being able to remove the smile off my face.

"You know, I'm happy for you and all, but how are you going to tell Mr.Park?" He asked curiously, "You already know I'm going out with a bang." I said leaning back in my chair and crossed my legs are o try and look like I had more authority. "I can't wait to see it." He said, we talked for a couple minutes before he had to go to work.

I finished the pile of work my boss gave me yesterday so he wouldn't make someone else do it, I stood up and walked to his office with the pile of work in my hands.

I didn't bother knocking before coming in because I was about to quit anyway. "Hi, here's the pile of YOUR work you made me do." I said before slamming it on his desk. He looked up at me like he was about to explode.
