After he turned on a light, he came right back and sat with me, "You want to talk about it?" He asked.
I shook my head, "Not really." I said looking down, my hands were shaking slightly.
I kept trying to tell myslef it was just a dream, it felt so real though, Doyoung placed his hand on mine, I looked up at him.
His eyes were so trusting and reassuring, "Do you want to do something, if not you might want to try and sleep more, it's 3AM" Doyoung asked, "No, I don't think I can even if I wanted to." I said.
He nodded, "Anything you want to do?" he asked, I shook my head, "Nothing in particular." I said.
Then the question came up, "Oh, where's Jisung?" I asked, Doyoung looked at me for a second before scratching the back of his neck.
"You might not like it." he said, I changed my expression to a confused one, "He's out with the Dream unit, they're 'borowing' some stuff from some people." he said.
"You mean stealing?" I asked with an unamused expression, "No- maybe, yeah." Doyoung said trying to lie to me, "You know you can't lie to me, I see right through it." I said.
"I know, I just didn't think you would be ok with it." Doyoung said looking a little sad, "Listen, I know you guys are part of a mafia, and you guys do illegal things, but I could never see Jisung, or you, or any of you guys any different." I said giving him a reassuring smile.
"I don't think it has sunk in all the way yet, so I do need some more time to think, and I don't know why everyone decided to take this path, but they must have their reasons." I said, Doyoung all of the sudded hugged me.
I was surprised, but hugged him back nonetheless, "Doyoung?" I said slight concern laced in my voice, "You're the first person outside of this mafia that has ever said anything like that to me." he said.
"To be honest Jieun, I have wanted ot tell you for a while, but I was scared you'd react like my family did and abandon me." He added, his voice broke when he said 'family'.
It broke my heart, Doyoung has been one of my closest friends for a long time, you could say he's like an older brother to me.
I let Doyoung keep hugging me for as long as he needed, once he let go of the hug, I looked at him, "Doyoung, you know I love you, you're like a second brother to me, I would never, even in a million years, leave either of you behind." I said.
He smiled at me, "Thank you." he said which caught me off guard, "For what?" I asked, "For being such a good friend and sister." he said.
"Not only am I friends with you, I'm friends with Jisung, he wouldn't be able to handle you leaving, and neither would I." he added.
"I wouldn't be able to handle loosing either of you, I would probably lose my mind." I said, then the dream I had came into my mind.
I felt chills run up and down my spine from the thought of it, Doyoung and I were sitting there awake for a while, I spent that whole time thinking about my dream.
"Doyoung, what do you think could have happened if I wasn't fast enough, or if Taeyong hadn't been there that night, what if you never gave me rides home?" I asked staring blankly at the wall.
"I don't know, and I don't want to know." he said, sounding a bit more serious, "What's going to happen to me? Will I ever be able to go back to my normal life?" I asked, I felt a tear escape my eye while talking.
I heard Doyoung sigh, "I don't know, I wish I did." he said, we both sat there in silence for a while.
Neither of us noticed what time it was until we saw sunlight peaking through the window, it was around then we started hearing voices from outside.
I heard Jisung right outside the door, I looked over towards the door as it opened.
"Oh, you're awake." Jisung said smiling as he walked in, "Good morning." I said sitting up.
"By the way, don't bother sugarcoating what you were doing, she sees through my lies." Doyoung said as if he was ripping a Band-Aid off with his words.
Doyoung grabbed a pillow as if waiting to be attacked by Jisung, Jisung just stood there, "How?" Jisung asked me.
"No one, not even Taeyong can see past his lies." Jisung said surprising me, "Really? It's always been really easy for me to know if he's lying, if he tries lying, he does know how to keep his mouth shut though." I said earning a laugh from Jisung.
Doyoung was just sitting there, "Why can't big mafia members not tell when I'm lying, but some girl I've been friends with for a few years who has no training what so ever can." Doyoung said before pouting more.
Jisung and I both laughed, I stayed up for the rest of the day, there were other people here now so there were other members at the house with me for now.
I was mostly with Lucas, but I had grown close to Mark, Johnny, Chenle, Shotaro, and Hendery, I hung around them the most, Mark and Johnny by themselves are hilarious, but when you put them together it's a lot.
About a month and a half had passed since I got here, none of them that I had gotten close to let me leave, they said they would let me leave with a member when I get my cast off.
Taeil had called me into the medical wing, he told me he would be able to finally take the cast off, just to be careful with it.
A/N: hello again, it's cold in my classroom still, on the bright side I haven't cried yet today. I'm doing my best to make this not boring, add some sentimental moment, some funny moments, also I will include moments with the other members soon don't worry.
