Chapter 26

They all came in quietly, "Before you all attack her, please be careful with her chest, shoulders, and legs, got it?" Taeil said telling them what to watch out for.

They all nodded, Hanse made his way to my right side, he grabbed my hand, "Jieun, we all missed you so much, all we wanted was for you to be back, this place is so down without you." Hanse said, everyone in the room nodded.

"Can I hug you? Gently?" Haechan asked, I nodded. Haechan smiled before as gently as possible hugging me, he avoided my shoulders and chest, it felt so good to finally be held by someone I love.

After he gently pulled away, he looked at me, "You're skinny." he said, "I'm not surprised there." I said.

Everyone took turns holding my hand or very gently hugging me, I was very impressed with how gentle some members were.

Jaehyun was currently still holding my hand, all of the members had left, Taeyong wanted to talk to them, I was and wasn't surprised at the same time that I hadn't seen Taeyong yet.

Jaehyun stayed with me becasue I didn't want to be left alone, they were all talking to Taeil, Hanse was tired, so I told him to go to bed.

"Jieun, you look like if you stay awake for any longer you might pass out, go to sleep." Jaehyun said.

I nodded and let my eyes close, it's amazing how fast you fall asleep after not sleeping for a week straight.

I fell asleep almost instantaniously, Jaehyun never let go of my hand, what I didn't know is that Jaehyun had to call another member in to get him anything.

I wouldn't let go of his hand while I was sleeping, I woke up to the sunlight peaking through the curtains in the room, I still felt warmth on my hand, I looked down to see Jaehyun still there.

He was asleep, is he snoring? I chuckled only to be reminded of the pain, the pain meds from last night were wearing off.

I saw Taeil sitting at his work area, he heard me when I woke up, "Good morning, how you feeling?" he asked quietly not wanting to wake up Jaehyun.

"I'm in a little bit of pain, other than that I'm fine." I said trying to be quiet while being loud enough for Taeil to hear.

Taeil gave me more of what he gave me last night, he sighed before going back to what he was doing.

I was confused by this action, but I chose to ignored it eventually.

About an hour had passed, I was still sitting there playing with Jaehyuns hair because I was bored, he's cute while he's asleep.

Jaehyun started to open his eyes, he looked really tired still, he glanced up at me and smiled.

"Good morning." I said taking my hand off his head, he nodded and chuckled a bit.

"Is my hair fun to play with?" He asked, I nodded, "I had nothing else to do, and your hair is soft." I said telling him the truth.

He chuckled before standing up, I felt a sudden panic rush over me as he did, I reached my hand out and grabbed his wrist.

He stopped abruptly and looked down at me, "Where are you going?" I asked.

He knelt down and placed his hand on mine, "I was just going to get some food, you need to eat, and I'm a little hungry too." He said giving me a reassuring smile.

He nodded his head slightly as if asking for permission to leave, I nodded and let my hand slide out of his.

The whole time he was gone, I kept fidgeting with the blanket or with my other hand.

Not long after Jaehyun came back in, I felt instant relief seeing him walk through the door.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, "You ok?" he asked sitting down next to me and grabbing my hand again.

I nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." I said, Jaehyhun had brought some food for the both of us to eat.

He sat with me as we ate, it felt so good to eat actual food, after we both finished, Jaehyun sighed.

I tilted my head to the side, "What's wrong?" I asked, he moved his head so he was now looking at me.

He shook his head after he registered the question, "It's nothing really, I just want to warn you in advance, Taeyong will probably call you into his office to talk to him about, you know..." He said expressing his worry.

My smile faded thinking about what had happened, I noticed the change in aptmosphere, "It's ok, is there anything to do in here?" I asked trying to lighten the mood.

He chuckled and ruffled my hair, I chuckled as well, I was enjoying this time with Jaehyun, it felt like he was trying to distract me from something almost.

It was like he was trying to make me nothing but happy, Taeil agreed to let me leave as long as I stayed in a wheel chair.

That was more than fine with me, I hungout with mostly Jaehyun, he was the one pushing me around most of the time.

I was not at all used to all the members being so gentle around me, I wasn't complaining, it was just different.

The group that saved me was also still there, they all introduced themselves to me, I quite like BamBam, and Jackson.

I think Jackson was the one that saved me if I remember correctly, they were all very nice to me, JB was a little hesitant to talk to me.

After a while I had at least 1 conversation with all of them, it was clear they didn't fully trust me, I don't blame them though.

Jackson was pretty close with Lucas, they seemed to know NCT pretty well, we were all just talking about random things.

Taeyong came out and asked me to come talk to him, my smile faded slightly, Jisung helped me get to Taeyongs office.

A/N: the next like 10 chapters are just drafts that I am just now going through and editing so I can post them and maybe fix some of the plot because it has drifted from what it originally was.
