Stuck

Chapter 22

Other than the added people, the dream was the same, it started and ended the same, even though I feel like I should be used to the dream by now, I always have the same reaction.

I always jolt awake crying, sweating, and start panicking, it's usually Jisung that has to deal with it, he's also used to it, I've been like that since mom died and dad left.

This time it was Jaehyun, I think he was still awake when I woke up, I think he tried waking me up before it ended.

Once I finally woke up I clung onto him, my hands were clenching on his shirt, he also had his arms wrapped around me, his warmth was calming me down.

My head was burried in the crook of his neck, I felt him rubbing my back while he let me hold onto him, and cry on his shirt.

He started humming a tune to try and calm me down, I don't know what happened, but it was like the panic stopped immediately.

I started to calm down while Jaehyun was hummng and rubbing my back, my hands started to relax, releasing his shirt from my grip.

I could feel the vibrations of the sound around his chest and back, something about the warmth, the sound, and the feeling of being in someones arms just completely stopped the panic.

I let my arms relax down as he kept doing what he was doing, his voice was so calming, it sounded like how sand falling out of your hand feels.

I let myself relax in his arms, after about 30 more seconds he stopped humming, "You ok?" he asked.

"I am now, thank you." I said with a soft and broken voice, "Can I just stay like this for a while?" I asked.

"Yeah." he said in a low yet calming voice.

It was silent in the room, I was leaning almost completely on Jaehyun, his arms wrapped around me, it felt like I was being hugged by a giant teddy bear.

I felt like nothing could hurt me or even touch me, I felt safe and protected in his arms.

I felt his chest move slightely from breathing, I found this very relaxing and calming, I eventually fell back asleep in his arms.

I woke up to Jaehyun shaking me lightly, "Jieun, you gotta get up, Taeyong might have my head, I have to go to work, and you have to do your work aswell." Jaehyun said making me remember what Taeyong said yesterday.

I was basically on Jaehyun at this point, I rolled over letting him move, I heard him chuckle at what I did.

"Jieun... I'm not the only one that needs to get up and out of bed." he said getting up off the bed and coming around and sitting me up, I groaned, "I know, I know." I said before getting up.

I went to Jisungs room as my stuff was in there, I walked in to see him sitting on the edge of the bed, he made eye contact with me as I came in.

I walked in like nothing happened, I didn't want to bring anything up.

"Jieun?" Jisung said to get my attention, "Yeah." I said.

"I'm sorry about last night, I just needed to be alone and think about things." he said as if I was mad.

"Jisung, it's ok, I'm not mad or upset, it's fine to want to be alone, there's nothing wrong with that." I said smiling at him and ruffling his hair as I walked past him.

he chuckled cutely, "Where did you sleep last night?" he asked, I turned to look at him, "I slept in Jaehyuns room, doyoung wasn't here, I didn't want to sleep alone, and Yuta was talking to Hanse and I didn't want to interrupt." I said filling him in.

"You slept with Jaehyun!?" he asked looking surprised, I nodded, "I wouldn't say 'slept', I don't think he slept at all." I said stating what happened, Jisung looked even more surprised.

I shook my head aggresively, "I wanted someone to be there even if they were awake, just incase I had another dream and panicked again, it wasn't like that don't worry." I said making him sigh in relief.

"Was everything ok?" he asked, I nodded, "I did have another dream, and panicked a little, but that's why I wanted someone there, and it helped a lot, it was weird, he did almost exactly what you usually do to calm me down, but for some reason I calmed down so much faster than usual." I said rememebring what had happened.

"I'm not complaining, but I just thought it was a bit weird." I added.

"Interesting." he said not really sounding or looking amused, "Well, we are both stuck here now, what do you plan to do today?" Jisung asked.

I shrugged, "I don't know, apparently Taeyong has some work for me to do." I said not really having any sort of a plan for today.

Jisung and I went to the kitchen to get some food, Doyoung gave me a laptop that I could use for work.

After everyone had gone to work, Taeyong was holding an actual work meeting with everyone else, he asked a few members to stay such as YangYang, Hendery, Chenle, and Renjun.

Hanse stuck with me most of the time, Jisung hung around Renjun and Chenle, YangYang spent his time with Hendery, I stayed on the couch the whole time with the laptop doing my work.

Hanse was just sitting on the couch with me, on his phone, everyone was minding their own buisness.

everything was fine until I heard a very high pitched scream, followed by loud footsteps running around, I then heard a loud thud, I looked over to see Chenle on the floor, Jisung was laughing at the top of the stairs, and Renjun was just standing there watching everything happen.

A/N: I have an idea for a future chapter I don't know which one it will be, but I have an idea.
