Chapter 29

Doyoung was still holding onto my hand, he stayed there all night while I slept, I'm not sure if he got any sleep.

When I woke up he was still there, he wasn't asleep, I sighed to just get some air in my lungs, only to be reminded of the pain in my chest.

Because of the bandages, taking too big of a breath tightens them causing it to press down on my chest.

I unintentionally made a slight sound from the pain, that caught Doyoung's attention.

"You ok?" he asked sounding worried, I nodded, "Yeah, just a little sore and the bandage pressed on my chest." I said.

Doyoung didn't look to convinced that I was fine, "I'll get Taeil, wait here for a second." Doyoung said before standing up.

I reached up and held his wrist, "Please don't leave, I really don't want to be alone." I said almost frantic.

He stopped immediately and sat back down, "Ok, I'll stay here, I'll just text him, he'll be here in a bit." I said placing his hand back on mine.

After the mini adrenaline faded, I felt pain in my left shoulder from reaching to grab Doyoung's wrist.

I hissed slightly and reached free hand up and lightly touching my shoulder.

Doyoung looked at me concerned, "Are you sure you're ok?" He asked, I nodded.

"Yeah, my pain is just worse today, I don't know why." I said not thinking much of it, not long after Taeil walked in.

"Everything ok?" he asked, I nodded, "Just in a bit of pain." I said, Taeil looked at my hand on my shoulder.

Taeil and Doyoung made eye contact for a second, "She said it's worse today." Doyoung said.

Taeils face contorted slightly, "That's weird, have you been feeling ok other than the pain? Like, getting tired out of nowhere, feeling dizzy, getting colder than usual, anything like that?" he asked.

I started thinking about it more, I did get a lot more tired than I should have gotten last night, I have been getting dizzy spells every once in a while, and I'm always cold, but even someone who has held my hand before has said I was really cold.

"I guess so, I haven't really thought much of it, I thought it was the lack of sleep and food I have gotten recently." I said.

"Shit." I heard Taeil say mostly to himself, he went and got a test tube type thing, "I think one of the blades he used was laced with some kind of slow acting poison." Taeil said, I felt Doyoung squeeze my hand slightly more.

"I'm going to take some blood so I can do some tests on it, I'll have Ten come in here and see if he has anything that can help." Taeil said giving me a heads up of what's going to happen.

It would be a lie if I said I wasn't scared, I just found out I could have been poisoned.

I let Taeil do what he needed to, while he was taking blood the door opened revealing ten.

"Taeil, whatever's wrong, it better be worth my while, otherwise I'll let Haechan eat your food." Ten said, those are some of the first words I have heard come out of his mouth.

"I think she might have been poisoned, can you find out what it is, if so what can we use to cure it?" Taeil asked.

Ten looked at me, he walked over next to Doyoung, he reached down towards my neck, I felt his hands make contact with the side of my neck right under my jaw.

I'm assuming he was feeling my pulse, his hands were really warm, "How are you feeling?" Ten asked.

"My pain has worsened today, I keep getting tired faster than I should, I've been told I'm a lot colder than usual, that's really it." I said.

He nodded, he looked at Doyoung, then down at our hands, Doyoung nodded and lifted my hand up.

Ten took my hand from Doyoung, his hands were really warm, or maybe I'm just that cold.

"Is Got7 still here?" Ten asked, he wouldn't know as he's in his room 90% of the time.

Doyoung nodded, "Yeah, they can't really go back to JYP." He said, Ten nodded, "Where's Yugyeom?" Ten asked.

"Next to your room." Taeil said, "Oh..." Ten said before leaving for about a minute and a half, he came back into the room with Yugyeom.

Yugyeon did all the same things Ten did, he sighed, "I know what it is, it's not too threatening yet, there is a cure, but it takes at least 1 month to make it, and the only place it's already made is at the JYP headquarters..." Yugyeom said.

"How long will it take for the poison to take full effect?" Taeil asked, "Based on how she is now, maybe a week, but I don't know how much they gave her, it could be less." Yugyeom said.

I didn't have much of a reaction as I was having a hard time procesing things, Doyoung, taeil, and Ten all sighed almost in sink.

Taeil walked out of the room, everyone was silent, Doyoung would not let go of my hand.

Not long after Taeil came back in with Taeyong, "So you're telling me that dick head poisoned her, and the only cure is at the JYP headquarters, and we have to get it within a week or less or she'll die?" Taeyong said sounding stressed.

I have been staring at the wall across the room, I stayed silent, I heard Taeyong sigh, "Is there anything we can do to suppress her pain while we get the cure?" Doyoung asked.

Yugyeom shook his head, "It's made so that if whoever takes the poison, takes medication to suppress the pain or slow the effects, it speeds up." Yugyeom said.

"So basically what you're saying is that we have already sped up the process giving her pain meds?" Taeyong asked.

Yugyeom nodded, "Who made such a thing? I mean that's kind of genius if you're the one in control of the poison." Taeil asked.

"Me, and Thank you I think?" Yugyeom said, Ten scoffed, "So that's why I didn't know what it was." Ten said.
