Taeyong looked at me with no emotion, "What does that even mean?" He asked walking back towards me, "I don't know what I'm doing." I said out loud but I meant to just say it to myself, my brain was on overload I guess.
"What do you mean? Work is over, now you go home." He said stating the obvious, "I know, but I don't have a way to get home." I said, "How, I've seen you walk, can you not just walk again?" He asked sounding slightly annoyed.
"Physically, yes I can-" "Then do that." He said cutting me off. He then started walking away, I felt a wave of panic rush over me, "Wait!" I said sounding just as panicked as I was.
"What." He said in a very unamused tone, the look on his face was very intimidating, "I-I don't want to go alone." I let out looking down.
"I will only go if you give a valid reason." He said, "I Uhh, I'm scared of the dark." I said trying to lie as best as I could.
He said nothing before I saw him start walking away again, "Wait wait no hold on, that's not my real reason!" I said to try and keep him there.
It was no use, he was already gone. I shrunk down into a squat position, this cannot be happening, how am I supposed to get home? What if that guy chases me again? What if I can't get away this time? I thought to myself.
I did my best to collect myself before walking towards the sidewalk, I was looking down at my feet walking forward until I saw a pair of feet in front of mine.
My eyes made their way up to meet the persons face, I expected it to be Taeyong, but instead I met a face covered in a black mask.
I tried to run back in the direction I saw Taeyong go, but the guy got ahold of my hair earning a yelp from me, I tried pulling his hands away from me, his grip just tightened. "LET GO OF ME!!" I yelled still trying to remove his grip.
It wasn't until I felt another presence there, they punched the guy who was attacking me freeing his grip on me, I scrambled away as fast as I could watching the scene play out.
I saw Taeyong standing there, fist clenched, and the guy who attacked me was on the ground holding his face before he stood up and ran away as fast as he could.
Taeyong turned around towards me, "Is that why?" He asked, "Huh?" I let out in a confused tone. Taeyong sighed before continuing, "Is that why you didn't want to go home alone?" He asked walking closer to me.
I just looked down and nodded, "Why didn't you say something?" He asked slightly raising his voice making me flinch and stumble back a bit.
"If I hadn't heard you, I would have left and who knows what would've happened to you." He said lowering his voice again after seeing my reaction.
"I didn't want people to worry over nothing." I said with a shaky voice, "That's not nothing, come on, I'll give you a ride home." He said walking passed me towards the parking lot.
I followed him after picking my stuff up off the ground, we made our way to his car, it was the newest model of a sports car, it looked like if a singular speck of dust was on it, it would cost more than my life to get cleaned.
I stood there for a second staring until Taeyong cleared his throat, I looked up to see him holding the passenger side door open for me.
Once we both got in, he asked me for directions to my house, I gave them to him and the car ride was mostly silent until Taeyong said something, "What was your first encounter with that guy?" He asked.
I looked down at my hands before talking, "A couple days ago, the day I saw you and Doyoung during lunch, that was the first time I felt it, and again before my brother picked me up from work." I said taking a breath before continuing, "It happened again during lunch on my first day, and again earlier today, and last night on my way home he chased me all the way to my front door." I said going through all of our encounters in my head.
"Have you told anyone?" He asked, I shook my head, "No." I said still looking down and fidgeting with my hands. "You're the only one that knows." I added.
He shook his head and sighed, "I'll have someone drive or walk with you to and from work from now on, ok?" He said trying to sound comforting, but it sounded more stressful.
I nodded my head, not long after the car stopped in front of my house, I stepped out of the car and thanked Taeyong before closing g the door and heading inside.
When I got inside, I tried to act normal so Jisung wouldn't question anything, I walked into the living room after taking my shoes off.
"Why are you home so late?" He asked, shit I suck at lying, "I got caught up in work." I said after a bit of hesitation.
He sighed and waved it off, "Ok." He said, I'm not sure if he bought it or not, but I like to think he did.
I walked into my room, and just laid on my bed and juat thought about things. Not long after I felt my phone vibrate, I looked at it to see a message from Doyoung saying he's going to give me a ride to and from work tomorrow.
I wonder if Taeyong told him what happened, they seem pretty close.
I was about to fall asleep before I heard a knock on my door, "Jisung, is that you?" I asked loud enough to be heard through the door.
A/N: hi, I'm tired. It's been a long day, people are annoying me for no reason, and I feel like crying, I swear I'm fine, it's just one of those days you know?
