Band Practice!

Zaras POV:

When arrived we got out of Andy's car and I observed the building and saw that it was just a regular brick building. It didn't look like anything special like all the other recording studios I had seen on line in LA.

The boys laughed at me and Andy said "yeah we don't do all the fancy stuff in the city, this is where we started and its more comfortable anyway."

I nodded as we walking inside and I found that although it didn't look like much on the outside it actually was pretty state of the art on the inside. There was every kind of soundboard or musical equipment I could imagine!! I gaped at the guys and the chuckled at me

"just because we like it here doesn't mean its not up to par Zara" Ashley informed me

"but why don't they make it look all high tech on the outside? It would bring in a ton of business cus it would get peoples attention" I asked confused

"because this kind of recording studio isn't meant for high up there bands like Kiss or something. Its more for bands just starting off so they can get a name out there and when they've made a name for themselves they move on to higher end studios with much more known names" Ashley answered

"then why are you guys still here? You haven't gone to different studio" I asked

"no they havn't" a voice said from behind me

I turned around and saw that John was standing there smiling at the guys who were in turn chuckling back at him

"and I personally still cant figure it out guys" John continued

"dude we've told you, we made it here and we know and trust Mac so why mess with a good thing?" Andy answered

John simply shrugged and turned to me and asked sheepishly "hey Zara... you doing alright?"

"I'm good, why wouldn't I be?" I asked back confused

"umm Jinxx told me what happened the night of the last concert..." John answered sadly

"ohh... well I'm doing alright, i mean i cant change it but the guys are all helping me" i said as i leaned back into Ashley's chest and he wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on the top of my head.

"well I'm glad you're doing alright. if you ever need my help just ask ok?" he told me

i nodded and said "thank you John"

he gave me a small smile and the rest of the band came out of the back room arguing....again.

"you cant have a drum solo there CC!! that's where Jinxx is playing his violin!" Jake yelled at CC

"but i never have drum solos and Andy promised me one this time!" CC retorted

"yeah! the last time i had played my violin was Morticians Daughter! and that was our very first album!!" Jinxx yelled

"GUYS!!! calm the heck down alright?!?!" John yelled at all of them as Andy Ashley and i laughed at the spectacle.

"but John-" CC tried to say

"CC i swear to god i will clock you" John warned which made CC shut up. "now we aren't even on that song yet so why don't we just worry about New Years Day first alright? then we'll talk about the next one"

the guys all sheepishly nodded and mumbled sorry

"i swear to god i work with 3 year old!" John exclaimed as he went into the back.
