Chapter 8: Silver and Starlight are separated.

At Ruby's house in Pennsylvania, Ruby had just finished the rings for the guys.

All of the girls rings, except Starlight's, were like normal engagement rings with their colored gems in the middle and smaller white diamonds on the sides and all of the rings actually looked the best with silver next to the gems for the frame, they used the gold as payment for Ruby's work.

All of the guys had their rings, except Silver. The ring he designed for Starlight was very unique, they were all sitting on Ruby's deck in her backyard when she came out the door.

"Silver, your ring is ready." She said and Silver got up excitedly.

He then followed her into the house and she pulled out the box containing the ring.

"Well here you go just like you asked." She said as she opened the box and showed him the ring.

Silver awed in amazement. "It's beautiful, it's just what I wanted. Thank you so much!" He said.

Ruby smiled "Your welcome and congratulations to you and the rest of the guys." She said and gave him the box with the ring and another box with his and Starlight's wedding rings, the wedding bands were the same for all the guys around. They were silver with small pieces of the same gemstones that the girls engagement rings had.

Silver ran out and all the guys smiled. "Do Silver what's so special about this ring that you had made for Starlight?" Raph asked, smirking.

Silver smiled, "Come and see for yourselves." He said and opened the box and pulled out the ring.

All the guys were amazed. It had the same design features as their rings, but the purple sapphire Silver got for Starlight was carved into the shape of a heart with a silver edge around it and smaller white diamonds as well.

"Wow Silver, it's beautiful." Leo complimented . Silver smiled as he put the ring back. "I know, I wanted the gem in the shape of a heart to show how Starlight will always be in my heart." He said.

All the guys smiled "Aww! That's so sweet man!" Mikey said. "Thanks Mikey." Silver said.

Donnie then got up and said goodbye to Ruby. "Goodbye Ruby, thanks for everything." He said, shaking her hand. "Your welcome Donnie. And again congratulations to you all. And Donnie tell my cousin Rarity I said congrats too." She said, smiling at him.

Donnie smiled "I will. Alright guys time to head back." He said. Each of the others said their goodbyes and then headed onto the ship and headed back to New York.

In New York, the girls were all gathered in the lair waiting for the guys to return, all except Starlight, who was our getting a 'coffee'.

"I hope Starlight gets back soon, the guys should be back any minute." Fluttershy said worriedly.

Sunset put a hand on Fluttershy's shoulder. "Don't worry she said she'll be back soon." Sunset said, reassuringly.

Sunburst, meanwhile, was watching Starlight through a crystal ball he had brought from Equestria.

Starlight's trip to get 'coffee' was actually a ruse. Instead she was really at a jewelry store, getting her present for Silver.

He watched in anger as she paid for the present and walked out the door.

"So she's buying the little creature a present, well she won't be able to give it to him if he's gone." He said maliciously as he used a spell and hacked into Twilight's cell phone and sent a fake text as Starlight saying that she was at the docks.
