True Love's Journey (Silvlight Story)

Chapter 16: The Wedding.

Two years after getting engaged Silver was standing at the end of a wedding aisle with Sonic beside him as his best man, waiting for his bride.

Silver was in a black tux with a white shirt, black buttons, a red bow tie, black dress shoes, and a white flower in the right pocket on his jacket.

The venue was the park where he and Starlight had their first date.

The aisle had a beautiful white carpet, white chairs for all their guests to sit, white jasmine petals scattered all around and a beautiful white canopy at the end with a pedestal where Princess Twilight herself would officiate the ceremony.

All of their friends came to the wedding, even Starlight's mom and dad managed to come from Equestria for this day. Her mom Violet Ray was sitting in the seating area at the front and her father Firelight would be walking her down the aisle shortly.

Sunburst had been arrested shortly after the hotel he tried to marry Starlight in had collapsed and he had been sent to jail in Canterlot; the black diamond he used for his magic in the human world had been confiscated and destroyed when he was captured.

"You ready Silver?" Sonic asked, smiling.

Silver smiled back "I'm ready." He said.

Sonic then nodded to Princess Twilight to begin the ceremony.

"Let the wedding begin." She announced and then music started to play. Sunset Shimmer came down the aisle first as Starlight's maid of honor.

She was wearing a long red dress with off the shoulder sleeves, her hair was in a lovely braid with small red and yellow flower clips in them, red sandals, and she was holding a bouquet of red lilies.

Then Cream came down the aisle as the flower girl, in a pink dress and a pink Lily flower crown. She held a white basket decorated with more pink flowers and leaves and threw jasmine petals down the aisle. She then stood in front of Sunset.

Next came Tails, the ring bearer, who was in a black tux like Silver's, but he had no flower on him. He was carrying a red pillow with golden lining and tassels. On the pillow were two silver rings with purple sapphire stones in them. His and Starlight's wedding rings. He stood in front of Silver and Sonic.

Then two of Princess Celestia's guards came and covered up the end of the aisle with two flags.

"It's almost time man." Sonic whispered to Silver.

Silver smiled, it was finally Starlight's turn to come down the aisle.

"Please stand for the bride." Princess Twilight ordered and everyone in the audience stood looking at the end.

Manic, who was playing the music, then began to play a song for Starlight's entrance, with Sonia and Shadow providing vocals.

Both:

Can you feel the love tonight

Won't you stay to see

Stealing through the night's uncertainties

A truth for you and me

As the song was playing two Equestrian guards standing at the end pulled away the flags they were holding revealing the bride and her father.

Sonia:

Somewhere there's a reason

Why I have to go

Keep away from this star-crossed voyager

That I don't want to know

Starlight was in a long white strapless dress with a dark purple sash around her waist that was tied in a huge bow in the back, she had sparkly white sandals on, a long sparkly white veil that went to the ground, her hair was down, she had a beautiful silver tiara with purple stones in it and she was carrying a bouquet of purple flowers.
