True Love's Journey (Silvlight Story)

Chapter 3: Now and Forever.

The next day Starlight got up out of bed, feeling very down. "Time to go and meet the others." She said out loud and got dressed and ate breakfast before going down to meet the others in the lobby.

Twilight did a head count and smiled, when she saw that everyone was here. "Okay we're all here so let's go." She said excitedly as she led the others to the sewers.

Meanwhile down in the sewers, Sonic and the others had just arrived and were greeted by Mikey.

"Sonic and company welcome." Mikey said, greeting everyone. Manic chuckled "Hey Michelangelo, how's it going bro?" He asked.

"It's going good Manic bro, let me show you dudes and dudettes to your living quarters." Mikey said and led everybody to their part of the sewers.

Mikey then pointed to one side for the boys and the other for the girls. "Okay I'll let you guys get settled in for a minute, but you all better hurry up and our other guests will be arriving shortly." Mikey said leaving all the Mobians to settle down and get ready for the ceremony.

Sonia smiled, "Okay thanks Mikey." She said and she and the other girls went to their side and the boys went to theirs.

In the guys side of the area they had just finished getting unpacked and were about to leave, when they noticed Silver sitting on his cote looking sad. Sonic went up to him "Hey Silver you okay?" He asked.

Silver looked at him and replied "Yeah, I'm just tired from the journey, you guys go on ahead without me, I'll catch up in a minute. And you can start the ceremony when you get there."

Sonic looked at him suspiciously, but just shrugged it off "Okay if you say so." And he and the other guys left to go join the girls and head down to the Turtles lair.

In the Turtles lair, the brothers, Karai, Shini, the girls, their families, Dr. Rockwell, Leatherhead, Slash, Alopex, April and her dad, Casey and his little sister Amy Jones, and Timber and his family were all waiting for the Mobians so they can get started.

"Man I can't wait, but I wonder how much longer it'll take for Sonic and the others to get here?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well you won't have to wait any longer." Said a voice, which turns out to be Knuckles as they others turned around and saw sonic and his friends there.

"Sonic you and the others are here." Leo said excitedly. "Yup we finally made it, Silver isn't here yet but he'll come soon, and he also said to go ahead and start the ceremony."

Leo was shocked to hear this. "Are you sure?" He asked to which Sonic just nodded yes. Leo sighed "Okay let's get this ceremony started then." He said.

Everybody cheered, "Yeah we finally have found someone to love now and forever!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly.

Cream and the younger kids all gathered around her mom Vanilla, who was talking with Dr. Rockwell, "Mother why is this ceremony so important again?" Cream asked her mom when she was done talking to Dr. Rockwell.

Vanilla smiled and put Cream on her lap "Because it is a tradition for their Ninja clan." She explained and as she did music started to play.

Vanilla: There is a charming tradition observed by the Hamato Ninja clan, when the ninjas reach 18 years of age each goes to pick a gem to make a ring for the person they love. With a ring in hand each Ninja asks their true loves if they will marry them and if they accept they get married, have a family, and remain together, forever.

When Vanilla was done explaining to her daughter and the other kids. Leatherhead and Alopex got up on top of a pedestal and began to sing.

Alopex: One perfect pebble.

Leatherhead: Just one humble stone.

Both: But oh what a stone can do.

Alopex: It means that I have one love forever.

Leatherhead: And one love alone.

Both: A now and forever with you.

Once they were done singing the boys went into one group and the girls in the other. Silver had also just arrived.

Boys: Now and Forever I'll show her I care, I'll find her the rarest stone. And maybe if the gem is perfect she'll tell me right there, she's now and forever my own.

Silver had stumbled into the lair and joined the guys when Donnie then came up to him.

Donnie: Hey how about you Silver, you got a gem for your girl?

Silver: Uh well you know it's just not really.

The scene then cuts to the girls, Starlight is in the back brushing her hair and then getting ready, while having a sad look on her face.

Girls: Now and Forever, we'll do like married couples do, we'll cuddle and coo and kiss (giggles). We'll have a little world where whatever we dream of comes true. I'll now and forever be his.

Twilight: Oh this is all just so exciting!

Fluttershy: So Romantic!

Rouge: Knock it off! Romance had nothing to do with it, listen...

Starlight: You know I don't think a gem should be that important.

Rouge: Starlight if you don't care about the gem how will you choose?

Pinkie Pie: How will you know when it's Mr. Right?

Starlight: I will know when Pinkie Pie, cause it's not the gem, it's the guy!

Starlight then starts dancing all around, and Silver just happened to see her from the other room, and listens to her.

Starlight: Now and Forever his heart will be true that's how I'll know who he is. No matter if his gem is clever, or borrowed, or blue. I'll now and forever be his!

Silver was amazed by Starlight because of her beauty and singing voice, "Wow" he said quietly. He then began to have a fantasy Starlight in a beautiful white dress and he was in a black suit with a ring in his hand, the guys standing behind him and the girls behind Starlight.

Boys: Do you take this woman?

Girls: Now and Forever...

Boys: Do you take this hedgehog?

Girls: Now and Forever....

Boys: Do you?

Girls: I do!

Girls: We will grow old together

Cozy in cold together

We'll try our best together

Further our nest together

We'll be a pair forever

Learning to share forever

Now and forever

As sure as the snow

As long as the ocean roars

I'll love you in a way that

I'll never begin to outgrow

I'll now and forever be yours

Boys: It's now and forever

And ever and ever

It's now and forever

And ever and ever.

When everybody was done they were so happy, especially Silver, who had found another person that he liked a lot just like Blaze.
