Friends?

Leafy's POV

I just got home from the Supermarket. Firey didn't need anything, or call me to do something for him after I told him that the apology he gave me wasn't the right one. I picked up Autumn and took her with me to the supermarket. They paid me 120 dollars for the first day. As they said they would on the flyer. Once we got home I put away the groceries and went to do my homework.

I had to make a schedule since I started working. And decided to do my homework after school. Right as I got out of school. Though today I couldn't do that as I was figuring out my schedule. I fell asleep right after.

Time skip, next day, In school, Lunch Time

I sighed to myself. "How was your first day?" Coiny asked. I looked toward the group. "Eh..Awkward is really all I can say." I replied. "What do you work as?" TB asked. "A personal maid." I put my arms on the table after I finished eating. "Huh, interesting." Pin added.

The bell then rung.

"We have to go to math now!" GB stood up proudly. "Alright then." I smiled at her. "See you later guys!" TB said. We all one by one left the table as we all were in different classes.

After school

Nghh. That history lesson was boring. I was going to meet up with my friends. That's when I saw Firey. I sighed. What did he need now? He saw me and came up to me.

"Hey Leafy!" He said.

"Hey Firey." I replied.

"What do you need?" I added.

"Hey um, I wanted to apologize." Firey said.

"Agai—"

"No, no- i mean actually apologize. I should have never picked a stupid reputation over my best friend." Firey said as he looked down.

"I should have never picked my reputation over my friends. Im sorry I became a person who wasn't me. I'm sorry I ruined our friendship." He said.

That part of what he said got me thinking.

"Now I will leave you alone at school and at home if that's what you wish."

"I'm really sorry Leafy. I hope you can forgive me. Even if you don't, I will always value our friendship and cherish the memories I had with you."

He turned around as he was about to walk away.

I grabbed his hand and turned him around as I hugged him.

"Im sorry Firey."

"Leafy?" He said as he hugged me back and almost fell over.

"It's also my fault. I shouldn't have only blamed you.
If I hadn't stolen the trophy, nobody would have hated me. Our friendship would have never broke if I had never taken it in the first place. I started this. I shouldn't have blamed you. I'm sorry." I said.

"Oh Leafy.. I forgive you." Firey said as he smiled at me.

I never new how much I missed him smile at me without me getting upset at him.

Wait what am I saying?!

"I forgive you too, Firey." I added.

"Friends?" Firey then asked.

"Friends." I said as I looked at him and smiled.

After that Firey seemed to be in thought about what just happened. Then I saw himself turn red. I wonder why?

Then he asked something.

"Hey leafy?"

"Yeah?"

"Remember?"

"Remember what?" As I looked at him with confusion.

"Friends Forever?" He said as he smiled at me recalling the memory of when we first met.

Flashback

"Leafy?"

"Yes Firey?"

"Will we be friends forever?"

"Yes! Forever!" Little Leafy said as she smiled at little Firey.

"Yay!" Little Firey laughed.

End of Flashback

I looked at Firey with a smile. "Yes. Forever." I said.

"Yay!" He laughed.

I missed his laugh. At this point I don't know what I'm saying. I did miss being his friend.

Friends forever. Right?
