008, Eleven

  Joyce, Reese, Jane, Jonathan and Nancy all sat in silent waiting for Hopper to come back with the kids. It was an uncomfortable silence, looking out of the window.

  Then light went trough it, it was Hopper's car. Everyone ran outside. Hopper and the kids getting out of the car. "Mike. Oh, my god. Mike!" Nancy yelled while running to her brother. Hugging him tightly. "I was so worried about you."

  "Yeah, uh... me, too." Mike said. Nancy looked then at the other children. Mostly at the girl who was bald. "Is that my dress?" Nancy asked her.

  Everyone took a seat around Mike, who had a price of paper in his hand. "Okay, so, in this example, we're the acrobat." Mike told them pointing at the little man standing on a line. "Will and Barbara, and that monster, they're this flea. And this is the upside down, where Will is hiding." He explained. "mr. Clarke said the only way to get there is trough a rip of time and space."

  "A gate." Dustin quickly added. "That we tracked to Hawkins lab." Lucas told the people in the room. "With our compasses." Dustin said. Everyone looking at them confused. "Okay, so the gate has a really strong electromagnetic field, and that can change the direction of a compass needle." He explained.

  "Is this gate underground?" Hopper asked the kid. "Yes." the bald girl answered, everyone looked down at her. She hadn't spoken to them yet. "Near a large water tank?" The chief asked her. The girl nodded. "Yes."

  "How do you know all that?" Dustin stuttered. The chief kept quiet when Mike answered for him. "He's seen it." Hopper kept his eyes on the girl.

  "Is there any way that you could... that you could reach Will? That you could talk to him in this—" Joyce said quietly. "The upside down." The bald girl added. Joyce looked at her with widen eyes. "Down. Yeah." She whispered. The girl nodded.

  "And my friend Barbara?" Nancy added. "Can you find her, too?" Nancy asked. The girl nodded softly.

  The static of the walkie talkie increases. Everyone standing around the table where the girl sat. Hoping she could get any context with Barbara. The lights started flickering and the girl opened her eyes. Her lip began to tremble. "I'm sorry." She said. Joyce looking at her with widen eyes. "What... what's wrong? What happened?" She stuttered.

  The girl's eyes began to water. "I can't find them." The girl said her voice breaking.

  She then went to the bathroom. "Whenever she uses her powers, she gets weak." Mike told the group. "The more energy she uses, the more tired she gets." Dustin explained. "Like she flipped the van earlier." Lucas added.

  "It was awesome." Dustin said nodding his head. "But she's drained." Mike told them. "Like a bad battery."

  "Well... how do we make her better." Joyce asked the boys. "We don't we just have to wait and try again."

  "How many times have you guys done this? What if her 'battery' stops working?" Reese asked everyone looking over at her. "I don't know." Mike said as he shook his head. "Well, how long do we wait?" Nancy asked getting back to what Mike said before. Mike shook his head again and shrugged. "I don't know."

"The bath." The bald girl suddenly joined the conversation. Everyone looked back at her. "What?" Joyce asked her. The girl sighed slightly. "I can find them." She nodded softly. "In the bath."
