  Reese, Steve and Dustin sat in the car, 'Hammer To Fall' playing on the stereo and no one saying a word. "Wait a sec. How big?" Steve asked, breaking the silence. "First it was like that." Dustin said, his fingers a little apart from each other. "Now he's like this." His hands apart a few inches, big for a mini-demogorgon-baby. Reese sat in the back, still silent. "I swear to god, man, it's just some little lizard, okay?" Steve said, not believing a word the Henderson boy said. "It's not a lizard." Dustin told him. "How do you know that?" Steve asked. "How do I know it's not a lizard?" Dustin asked. "Yeah, how do you know it's not just a lizard?"

  "Because his face opened up and he ate my cat." Dustin explained. Steve and Reese both nodded. "Poor Mews." She said quietly. The awkward silence fell once again and Steve pulled over at Dustin's house. The three got out of the car and Steve opened the trunk, throwing his keys at Dustin who catched them, Dustin and Reese looking confused at the keys in the boys hands. Steve got the bat out of of the trunk, closing the trunk once again.

  The three walked up to the basement door, shining her flashlight on it. It was slince for a while when steve said, "I don't hear shit." Dustin shrugged. "He's in there." Steve carefully slammed his bat against the basement door, still no sound. once again Steve slammed the bat against the door, this time way less carful. Once again no sound. "Dustin, you better not be making this up, because I will triple kill you." Reese said pointing the flashlight at the boy. Steve agreeing. "Right if this is some sort of halloween prank," He paused for a bit. "you're four times death, all right?"

  "It's not a prank." He said and shook his head, his eyes closed from the light of the flashlight in his face. "Now get it out of my face." Dustin told Reese. The girl nodded. "Yeah, right." She said lowering the flashlight. "You got a key for this thing?" Steve asked Dustin.

  Steve opened the basement door looking into the dark room. Dustin and Reese walked over to him, both on one side of him shining the flashlights inside. Steve grabbed Dustin's flashlight. "Let me see that." He shone the flash light into the dark basement, looking around. "He must be further down there." He said as Steve and Reese still looked into the basement. "I'll stay up here in case the tries to escape." Dustin said slowly, Reese and Steve looking up at him. Steve shook his head and looked down again, sighing.

   Reese looked at Dustin. "If that thing eats me I'm going to hunt you for the rest of my ghost life." Reese said before looking down the dark hole again. She sighed and the pair walked into the basement. Reese shone the flashlight around, not keeping much distance from Steve. Steve walked around, over to a light hanging in the basement. He turned it on, the room lighting up a little more. Reese and Steve both looked down in disgust, seeing some kind of... skin? There was some stuff dripping down from it. Steve looked into another corner. "Reese? Steve?" Reese heard Dustin's muffled voice from the outside. "Guys, what's going on down there?" Reese shone the flash light towards the basement door. "Get down here." Steve said.

  Dustin carefully walked into the basement, seeing the skin on Steve's bat. "Oh, shit." He said and Reese shone towards a corner of the basement, revealing a hole in the wall. The three kneeled down in front of the hole. "No way." Dustin said as they all looked into the hole. "No way."

  "Are you sure this will even work?" Reese asked Dustin, who just explained the plan again. "Yes, I think." Dustin said as Steve continued dumping meat in the bucket. Then Lucas's voice sounded from the walkie talkie and Dustin quickly answered him, the two talking while Reese now helped Steve fill the buckets with meat. "All right, let's go." Steve said, giving a bucket meat too Dustin and Reese. "Just be there, stat, over and out." Dustin ended the conversation with Lucas.
