Loralei is a young girl who was abandoned when she was 8 years old. Which resulted in her being sent to Midguard or Earth. By her own grandfather Odin. Who deeply cared about the young girl, even though he might've not shown it all that much.
She is Loki's daughter who misses her father deeply. She loved reading with him. It was him who got her into reading in thr first place.
Although there's Thor's daughter, Tabatha. But Frigga was closer to Loralei than she was with Tabatha.
When she got to Earth, she was immediately sent to an orphanage. She got adopted not long after arriving at the orphanage.
She knew who her father was but at the short time that she was at the orphanage, she was always told that her parents never wanted her.
When she got adopted she got the most meanest parents ever. They never fed her, she would sleep on the floor. They even tried to burn her with an iron. But she never flinched one bit.
They basically threw her stuff out the doot, and told her to never come back. Which the young girl didn't mind one bit, because she never liked it there anyway.
She walked around New York like a crazy person, on the count that she was homeless. Had nowhere to go, and no food to eat.
Then she accidentally bumped into a young woman in her mid-twenties.
"I'm so sorry!" Loralei says helping the woman pick up her groceries.
"No, it's okay." The woman says, to the now panicked girl.
"I wasn't watching where I was going." Loralei says and the woman gives her a smile.
"What's your name sweetie?" The woman asks the young girl.
"Loralei." The girl replied, and the woman smiled at her.
"That's a pretty name. Do you know where your parents are?" The woman asks Loralei and the girl just shakes her head no.
"No. Ma'am my parents never wanted me." Loralei says to the woman and the woman felt had that this young cute girl didn't have any parents that wanted her.
"How do you feel if you want to live with me? How does that sound?" The woman asks Loralei and the girl doesn't know if she can trust this woman.
Who's basically asking if she wants to live with her. She doesn't even know this person. But she had hope thay she would find a home and stay there for good. At least until she could get a job and save her own money for a house.
"Yes that would be nice. Thank you." Loralei says thank you to the wiman and Loralei helpa by picking up a bag of groceries ans following the woman to her house.
That was the day that Loralei felt loved. She lvoed her life since, and never looked back that was until she was recruited by SHIELD.
