Y/n's POV

We arrived at the gate and went inside. We had this plan that was obviously not going to work but we'll just have to go with it. 

We had told everyone we would be doing a drill so we could practice in case a titan would break through the wall again. Everyone looked at us with a confused expression. 

Some of them started yelling that it is stupid since there hasn't been a titan outbreak in that area for a long time. I wanted to smack them so badly but I decided to calm down. 

They are obviously not going to do the drill and most of them had already returned to their homes where they were most likely having dinner with their family. 

"At least they'll have a meal before they die? I mean lucky them I guess." I shrugged before turning around and using my gear to go up the wall. It's getting closer and it won't take much time before the wall is broken and the people will be blaming us again for not evacuating.

They should listen to us. We're the ones putting our lives in danger every single fucking day just so we can end this madness we call the titans. They should respect us. 

I heard someone behind me so I decided to turn around and see who it was. It's Levi. Great! The person I didn't want to talk to. Since I had found out that he was related to Kenny Ackerman I had tried my best to avoid him. I just can't believe he was raised by a murderer. 

Well, isn't this awkward...

We just stood here. In peace. Ignoring the things happening in the back and staring at the city that would be destroyed in a couple of minutes. 

"So you're back?" He asked me. 

"Yup." I answered and looked at him. 

He let out a laugh before explaining everything that had happened when I was gone. 

"Ugh, why do I have to miss the interesting parts? Honestly. Whenever I'm working it's always paperwork, paperwork, and paperwork,"

"We should get everyone up here. It looks like it's time to kill that thing." Levi explained and I nodded. We parted ways to go and gather everyone. Once everyone had gathered on top of the wall we started bombing the titan hoping it would land on its nape. 

We failed to hit its nape but we did succeed in slowing it down so we had more time to get ready and fight. At this point, a lot of people had left their houses to see what all the noise was about. 

They looked scared. Terrified actually.

As much as I wanted to go and yell at them for being such annoying bastards I had a job to do. And that job is to protect citizens from inside the walls from any kind of danger. Ugh, why did I become a scout again? I could've become a doctor or something. Life would be way better than the way I'm living it right now. 

Oh, what I would do to live a normal life without titans and without all these annoying people. 

"Y/n! Stop daydreaming and get to work!" I heard Hange say. I guess I should start by telling those annoying bitches down there to go and evacuate. They're getting on my nerves, to be honest. 

They were just standing there. Are they dumb?

"Ma'am is everything alright outside of the walls?" A woman asked me as I walked by a bunch of confused people.

"No." I shrugged and walked over to the table and stood on it. "Everyone please try to evacuate as fast as possible. We tried to warn you last time but you didn't listen which was a dumb move. Okay, so the thing that is outside of the wall is around twice the size of the colossal titan. So evacuate. You should kno-"

"Come on Y/n at least try to help them a little bit." Hange interrupted me. I looked at her with wide eyes. "I was doing very well." I smiled before turning around and seeing everyone was looking at the wall. 

"EVACUATE FOR FUCKS SAKE" I yelled. They all nodded and started running towards the gate. 

It was already there and it was huge. You could see its intestines falling out of its body s it stood up. It tried to get over the wall but an explosion at its nape stopped it from doing so. 

A bunch of skin pieces were flying through the air. We just had to find out which one had Rod Reiss in it. We had all agreed to let Historia do it since it's her father and this could be her way to prove that she is a good heir for the throne.  

I saw a red/orangy glowing piece of skin and yelled at Historia to go over to that one and cut it. As she cut it the body started disappearing and a lot of terrified citizens walked over to Historia. 

"I am Historia Reiss and I am the true heir to the throne of Paradis Island. I will protect this country's citizens with my decisions and will help free this country from the curse we call titans." She yelled and people cheered. (I can't remember what she actually said so let's go with this)

We started cleaning up the city and lucky for us it wasn't that bad. I've seen way worse. Like Shiganshina and Trost. Horrible times. 

-Time skip-

Newspapers were already talking about what had happened in Orvud district. Most of them were talking about Historia and her speech. The citizens had said positive things about her to the newspapers. 

Fine, I'll be nicer to them from now on. Just because they're being positive for once. 

A few things were said about how "brave" we were that day and some were talking about how we didn't warn the citizens. Well, technically we did but they're a little slow and didn't get the hint. And that's Wall Sina people for you. 

I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
