Zhi An looked at the man who stood in front of him. His wide shoulders and tall figure shielded him from the previous attack.

They had just left the patient room to allow Yuan Jun to rest. Who would have known that not five minutes later, they were attacked for no reason.

Zhi An looked at his hand that was gripped tight by the man in front of him. The man's eyes were bottomless and dark, full of killing intent.

"Zhu Liwei...," He heard the man say with a threatening tone, "The next one won't miss your head."

At the man's words, Zhi An could feel that the atmosphere instantly froze and tension stilled. Just as he thought that the matter would escalate, a rough voice rang out from the other side.

"Enough with your squabbles. This is not a fucking playground."

Amidst the heavy smoke that arose, four figures could be seen first. A middle aged man who wore a military uniform, a beautiful nurse that was protected in the embrace of a handsome soldier, and a handsome young man behind them that Zhi An was extremely familiar with: Bi Lei.

Zhi An's gaze darted to the beautiful nurse that was currently embraced in the arms of the handsome soldier. Currently, the woman had a pale complexion, her hands clutching tightly on her lover's clothes. One could see how panicked she was due to the incident. On the other hand, her lover who was none other than Zhu Liwei, was glaring straight at Chen Hua full of murderous intent. A hint of shame could be detected in his eyes, probably due to the fact that he couldn't block Chen Hua's attack.

"What's with all the ruckus?", The rough voice that came from the middle-aged man rang out again. His eyes that hold vicissitudes were currently scrunched in a frown. His body that was covered in a military suit brought momentum and sturdiness to his figure.

Zhu Liwei, who was the only person who knew of the man's identity, saluted upon seeing him.

"Greetings, Colonel."

The middle-aged man, as if annoyed, brushed his greetings nonchalantly. With a solemn voice he directed his question to Zhu Liwei, his cold eyes penetrated straight to the man's figure, "Care to explain?"

"Report, Colonel." Zhu Liwei released his embrace on his lover, and clamped both of his legs together. He stood still and saluted with vigor, "This subordinate has a personal enmity against someone, and had accidentally lost control of his own emotions upon seeing that person. Unknowingly, the fireball I had condense was too powerful and accidentally destroyed the building's walls. I sincerely apologize and will receive any punishment you give!"

"It seems that your self-control needs to be trained. Receive your punishment after this." The colonel snorted. His eyes revealed his disappointment.

His gaze moved from his young subordinate to Chen Hua, and a smile rose in his lips, "The person that my subordinate has an enmity against... it must be you?"

Chen Hua's grip on Zhi An's hand tightened. His eyes darkened, as if there was a turbulent undercurrent surging in the deep sea, and asked in a low voice, "Yes, so what?"

"I wouldn't delve deep into both of your personal grudges against each other, but the fact that you had almost taken the life of my precious subordinate can surely land you into dealing with the laws."

As if he found himself interested in the mysterious man, the Colonel smirked, "If you can answer my question, I'll let you go unscathed. How about that?"
