In a derelict three story building, one of the most abandoned construction sites in Country X.

A group of gangsters were kneeling on the ground, their tattooed bodies were arrayed with untreated wounds, blood still coming out of their injuries. Xie Zhang stood in front with his head slightly bowed, his body leaning to one side due to his broken leg. His expression hidden by the shadows, not daring to look up at the additional man that sat beside Feng Yan.

The man that sat beside Feng Yan appeared youthful with his handsome face, a gentle smile hanging on his lips. He was dressed casually. His lean body was cladded with white shirt paired with black trousers, giving a clean and crisp aura. His clothes did not have much decoration but when worn on his body it seemed particularly fashionable.

However, one would not believe that such a kind-tempered young man to be acquainted with these pack of unprincipled men.

"You failed?" Their leader, Feng Yan spoke as smoke came out of his lips, his finger holding the cigar.

His dark eyes narrowed, coldness flashing by.

Xie Zhang's heart sank as he heard the man's threatening tone, his body shuddering, "W-We were close to finishing him, yet a stranger came and rescued him. It wasn't our fault! We didn't expect that at all!"

"Simply a bystander yet you can't even deal with him?" Feng Yan smirked. "I know you're useless, but I didn't know that it was to this extent."

Xie Zhang's body trembled as he clammored. His body quivering in fear, "Give me another chance! I can prove to you that I'm not useless!"

Feng Yan calmly watched with indifferent eyes, his lips smoking out of his cigar.

The youth who had been quiet all this time finally stood up, walking straight to Xie Zhang. The lips that were smiling made a dangerous curve, his eyes cold. Just with a single glance from him, the men in the room felt their mind and hearts trembling. They knew how ruthless this youth was behind his gentle facade. They also knew the biggest mistake one could make was to look down on him.

The youth stood in front of Xie Zhang, and although younger, he was a head taller than the man, his shadow enveloping his figure.

Uncomfortable with the man's overpowering aura, Xie Zhang stepped back to put some distance between them.

When his eyes were met with the youth's provocative look, his eyes filled with hate as he spit out, "What are you looking at me for?! Want me to gouge out your eyes, huh?"

The youth did not reply, his eyes smiling. Then he lightly glanced at the other's limping leg, calmly raising an eyebrow, yet his words contained a mocking tone.

"Simply a dog that only knows how to bark, how dare you stand?"

Just as his words befell upon him, a force struck Xie Zhang's legs.

"Kuh!' Xie Zhang slumped immediately onto the ground, a painful groan escaped his lips. Anger and resentment filled his eyes.

Surprise filled the youth's eyes, "Oh-hoh. You dare glared at me?"

The youth did not stop there. With his hands inside his pocket, he swung his long legs with a heavy force, striking his feet into the other's abdomen.

"Kahk—!"

His mouth gaping opened to release agonizing groans. Xie Zhang knew that with his injured body, it would be impossible to dodge, he braced his head and curled his body in protection. He endured the merciless kicks that were landing on his body like a raging storm that swallowed everything it saw.
