A few kilometers away from the Tang University, there laid a derelict three story building with cracked grey concrete walls just barely supporting the roof. Its beams were falling apart as if a single touch could send the whole building down along with it. Metal pipes and beams that were concealed within the walls were exposed through the cracks, jutting out into the air to form dangerous spikes.
The structure was one of the most abandoned construction sites in Country X, and it was now no more than an ugly skeleton on steel girders and prefabricated concrete slabs after being abandoned for more than a decade, and people simply knew to avoid it. Nothing good ever comes from a building so beaten down by endless seasons of weathering, and true enough, a group of unprincipled men; mainly ruffians and street thugs secretly took the building as their base.
A man, who was sitting on a black sofa in one of the decrepit rooms in the building, appeared to be in his late 20s and he assumed the position of a leader for these groups of gangsters. His left hand held the phone to his ear, listening to the orders that came from the other line, while his right hand held the cigarette in his mouth, inhaling the grey stench into his lungs before a minute later the man blew it out.
"Yes, yes, today of course." The man nodded with a smile on his lips, yet his eyes are not smiling. The smoke that came out of the cigar obscured his expression, nevertheless his subordinates that were standing on the corner of the room could feel a chill creeping up onto their shoulders, their spine tingling in warning.
A second later the man hung up, the smile in his lips disappeared into a thin line. He raised his eyes to look at his subordinates.
"Call Xie Zhang."
His order was curt and short, yet his men immediately dispersed to call this person called 'Xie Zhang'. The room was immediately vacant except for the man's presence, but not for long, as a few minutes later, a young man with a bruised face entered the room.
The young man's black hair was combed back, revealing his bruised purple eyes and broken nose that had already been bandaged. If Qi Cheng was present, he would immediately recognize the identity of this young man, after all, he was the reason why the man was in such a sorry state.
Yes, the young man was the one who offered Qi Cheng a small packet of drugs yesterday. He also held the identity of the young master of Xie Family. The young man had just been released from the hospital this morning, and the leader knew that this young subordinate of his was currently craving to spill some blood, and he got exactly the perfect form of revenge for him.
"We got an order from a client." The man interlaced both of his hands together as he leaned forward.
Xie Zhang frowned, "Feng-ge, are you serious with me right now? Look at the state of my body."
His hands opened up to reveal his injuries that he got the day before, "...I just got released from the hospital this morning, and you want me to fight someone again? Count me out, my body still fucking hurts. I'm not doing it."
Feng Yan smiled as he snuffed out his cigarette, "We got an order to oust the mad dog."
"..Oh. The mad dog?" The smile on Xie Zhang's lips deepened, his eyes darkened. "Any time limit?"
"Later in the evening."
"Ah.. of course, after school time, right?"
"Yes."
Xie Zhang smirked, his eyes revealed a dangerous glint, "Then, I'll take it. Leave it to me."
Feng Yan smiled, "Sure. I shall await for good news."
