Sebastian raises his head when he hears the door to the ICU open and a pair of footsteps enter, wiping his eyes against the sleeves of his hoodies and turns to look at the owners of the footsteps. Evans and Tony enter the room, both somber and quiet as they take a seat on the other side of the bed, Evans taking  a hold of Ahana's other hand and placing small pecks across her knuckles while Tony looks at him. "How are you?" Tony asks in a low tone and Sebastian huffs bitterly "I lost Ahana, how do you think I would feel?" he answers and winces at how rude it sounds "Sorry-" "It's okay, if I was in your place I would do the same thing-" "No, you would have thought about all the possibilities and made sure she wouldn't kill herself, something that I did not do properly" he says as he looks at the Ahana's slacken face, her chest rising up and down to the beeping of the ECG machine. "You do know you can't blame yourself right? Even if it was me, Stevie or Evans, none of us would have thought that she'd do this, so it isn't fair to blame yourself" Evans advises as he lets go of Ahana's hand and looks at him, a small smile on his face. "Does he know?" Sebastian asks and Tony looks at him questioningly "Who knows what?" "Her friend" "You mean Ashwin" "Yeah, him, does he know?" "Yeah, called him the moment you called me" "How did he react?" "Why do you wanna know about that all of a sudden? I thought you liked him" Tony asks curiously and Sebastian mumbles under his breath. "What?" "I'm....I'm just jealous" "Of him? Why?" Tony asks and Sebastian zips his mouth, not answering the question, fearing to look childish.

"Sebby come on, why are you jealous of him?" Evans asks this time and Sebastian sighs "It's just...ugh...It's just after our break up, he was all she's been close to. I saw the pictures of them smiling and giggling and generally being all cute together and I thought she moved on ya know. And that stung. Like was our love not strong enough that she could just easily move on without talking it out with me. He had her as a whole, he was experiencing the whole being with Ahana experience and that made me hate him and to an extend her too. There she was moved to Chennai, smiling and being beautiful with a guy who isn't me and gosh...it took everything in me to not react to it badly" he says as he takes Ahana's hand in his "And then came the rumours that they were together, way back before this mess, and it just fueled my jealousy and hatred even more, fuck, I wanted to go back in her life, even force myself if push comes to shove and demand how could she move on from us, I was a mess! That's when Ahana cleared it up in one of her daily insta lives and stated that they were not together and they were just best of friends and they would have a laugh whenever they hear one of this rumours surfaces. You would think that would have put a lid on my feelings? Ha, barely. They were friends, just best of friends but they were still together, they still went out together, he still had her close and I snapped. I called her and poured out my feelings, my words were vile and vicious and at that time I felt good that she's hurt but then she took out all of those with just this sentence 'he's my friend but you are the one I still love' and it shook my entire world" he says with a bitter huff and places a kiss on her hand "Then it was all talks, tears, screams and soothing words and we were in a right track. We talked and talked and talked that we just fell in love again" he finishes it and sees both Tony and Evans giving him a small smile.

The ICU room goes silent, only the ECG machine and the dialysis machine filling up the room when Tony clears his throat. "I finally have the divorce documents" he says and Sebastian looks at him "Really?" "Yeah, my lawyers said they needed another one more day to finalise the papers but I felt like if I drag this anymore longer, anything could happen to her. And that's the last thing I want for her. So I forced them to finish it by today and they just emailed me the documents" "But she's in comatose" "Yeah but her power of attorney is with her lawyers and he sent me the reference papers and uhh" Tony hesitates but Sebastian gestures for him to continue "You're not the one. Her power of attorney is her adoptive dad and me...sorry" Tony says slowly and Sebastian nods, no matter if that pierces his heart, and looks back at Tony "But I wanted you to see the documents, if there's anything that's needed to be amended or edited cause I don't want any mistakes since this is the exact copy that's going to the media" "Media? Why the media? I thought that we were doing this under the radar" "We could, but the rumour will still circulate among the media and that's not good for her, you or Ashwin. So after her dad or me sign the papers and Ashwin signs it too, we'll send it to the media, a copy of it and the rest will soon follow" "Do you know who leaked it to the media in the first place?" "That one Ashwin's friend is doing since he texted me and told me that he suspects it's someone close to him, so you don't worry about that. Now you just have to go through the papers and take care of Ahana and yourself" Tony says as he takes out his iPad mini and swipes the screen a few times before handing over to Sebastian. "Roshan-" "Roshan? Whose that?" "Ashwin's lawyer. Anyways, we both talked and discussed that getting a divorce in US is a lot easier than in Chennai and since she has a green card here, it will just quicken the process" "But she stays in Chennai" "Yeah, but not long enough to get a PR there, since she still travels back and forth between Chennai and Los Angeles. So she's a US citizen when she 'signs' the divorce papers" Tony explains and Sebastian hums understandingly
