Jughead's POV
"So Kevin and Archie huh? That's cool."

Betty said "yeah! I think it's so cute...a little couple...I wonder how it'll go, Kev said he has a lot of stuff planned for them."

I smiled saying "I'll meet you at yours then?"

She then said "sure..."

I smiled and hung up as I heard "who was that?"

I turned seeing my mom.

I rolled my eyes as she said "who was it or your not allowed."

I smiled saying "mom, you left! Only dad can tell me what I can or can't do."

I smirked and grabbed my bag and got my phone inside and decided to wash up. As I was getting dress I heard our door being knocked on, I grabbed my bag and ran to the door and opened it and saw Betty.

I said "Betty? What are you doing here?"

She sighed and said "well first you know how I feel about you texting, I can't see...so my mom had to read the text and you said to meet you here."

I was confused saying "I never sent a text."

She nodded and pulled out her phone and I grabbed it and saw the text.

I said "what the hell, Betty I would never text you that...you know I understand your sensitive about this stuff, I wouldn't do that to you."

She sighed and said "I know...but who did it than?"

I groaned and yelled "mother!"

I saw my mom smile from the corner.

I said "just come in will leave on my bike."

She nodded and walked in saying "your moms here? I thought..."

I sighed and said "it's nothing..."

My mom got up saying "well...your beautiful."

Betty said "thank you..."

My mom then said "so why are you wearing sunglasses in here?"

Betty said "I just rather not speak of it."

I then said "leave her alone mom, leave us alone."

She glared at me saying "it's completely disrespectful to not greet me."

Betty gulped and I said "mom leave her alone."

She scoffed saying "you should get a respectful and nice girlfriend! How about Donna! She was your preschool crush."

I rolled my eyes saying "let's leave Betts."

I grabbed her hand and she held my hand tightly, she was afraid. I sighed and tried rubbing her knuckles but before we made it out the door my mom yanked Betty's arm making Betty hit her head on the wall and her glasses fell.

"Ow!" She yelled.

I grabbed her as she winced holding her forehead.

She said "it really hurts..."

I groaned yelling "mom!"

She rolled her eyes and she said "I'm okay...it wasn't that bad..."

I sighed and yelled "mom you have to be more careful!"

She rolled her eyes again and I yelled "one more time you try something and I will get dad!"

I sighed and said "hey you okay?"

She nodded saying "it's not as painful as some procedures..."

We both laughed and I said "let's get you home okay?"

She nodded and I got her out and I said "you put your hands on her again and you'll regret it mother. Dad accepts her and knows she has difficulties unlike us...why can't you notice that...I'm happy."

I walked out and I took Betty home, we were on her couch as her mom checked her out everywhere.

Betty said "I'm fine mom!"

I laughed as she said "no offense but I will not let your mother hurt my baby!"

Betty said "I'm fine really, it'll probably just leave a bruise okay mom?"

She sighed and said "fine..."

I smiled and said "hey...she's just trying to be a mom, mine never was like this."

Betty then said "don't be sad Juggie, my mom loves you to death."

Ms Cooper nodded making me chuckle. When Betty and I left we were at Pops and we saw Veronica and Pops, Veronica was in a waitress outfit and she gave me and Betty outfits.

"We need to make sure Kevin's day is perfect with Archie! Okay?"

We nodded and Betty said "hey...after this how about sleepover at mine?"

I smirked and gently kissed her as she giggled.

Archie's POV
I was in my room as my mom walked in smiling at me, she sat down and smiled looking at me.

"So...you and Kevin have a date...do I expect you coming home tonight?" She asked me.

I gulped and sighed I laid back on my bed as she sat down with me and questioned.

"What's wrong?"

I licked my lips saying "I don't know...I...I really like Kevin mom...he's an amazing guy...it's just...I just came out last year...I'm nervous what if I'm not enough for him."

She smiled and said "I don't think I've ever seen you this happy ever since your father passed away two years ago Archie...and the last girl you were with... you like boys more then girls, definitely, you were with her and yes did some things and came out as bisexual...sweetheart...you know I am in the same position, when your father and I got divorced I began discovering myself. The most important thing to know is you have people who love you, you have Veronica, Kevin, Betty, her boyfriend. You need to think positively."

I smiled lightly and nodded saying "okay..."

She smiled and kissed my cheek saying "alright, let's get you ready for your date...and maybe more?"

I smiled and nodded and my mom helped me get ready. I had on some jeans with a dress shirt and a jacket on and I had my sneakers slipped on and the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs opening the door seeing Kevin.

He smiled at me saying "you ready?"

I nodded saying "I'll see you soon mom!"

She waved at me and I got out and Kevin said "we're gonna have the best night of your life."

I smiled and stopped him and said "Kev..."

He looked at me and I said "you are the best boyfriend...best partner I've ever had."

He smiled at me and I kissed him, he held my hands that held his face and I pulled away.

Hesaid "come on Archie, there's more from that..."
