Jughead's POV
As I walked out of my room my dad smiled at me.

"It's just a Valentine's dance Jug, no need for the suit." He told me.

I shrugged saying "everyone else is gonna do it

He smiled and said "well you look nice...is your suit case all packed? You leave tonight with Betty."

I nodded and he smiled at me saying "just be safe okay? Don't do anything stupid."

I nodded and he hugged me, I hugged him back and grabbed a bouquet of lillies and left. When I got to Betty's I knocked on the door seeing Ms Cooper and she smiled at me and Betty got up wearing a white dress.

She smiled lightly saying "how do I look? I don't...really know what dress my mom picked, it felt like one dress but it also felt like another."

I laughed and said "your amazing..."

I gave her the flowers and she smiled then saying "lillies, you remembered."

I sighed lightly and said "come on, we want to have a little fun before the plane ride."

She nodded and I shouted "bye Ms Cooper!"

As Betty followed with "bye mom!"

And we left.

We got to the school and saw Kevin and Archie having drinks and they came over to us.

"Betty you look so adorable!" Kevin shouted.

He hugged her and she said "thanks."

I smiled saying "well, I'm gonna get something to eat I'm starving..."

They all laughed and I walked over grabbing the bowl of chips and munching on them. When I returned I saw Sweet Pea and he smiled at me.

He said "I thought asking out Veronica was gonna be a lot harder..."

I laughed saying "dude, she's just a regular girl."

He scoffed "her dad basically owns New York. She ain't regular, she's special."

He gawked at her as she spoke with Betty. "Your insane Sweets no offense."

He scoffed "offense."

I shook my head and walked over to the girls.

I smiled saying "may I have this dance Betts?"

She laughed and I grabbed her hand and pulled her to the dance floor. As we danced to a slow song I held her against me.

She said "promise me something Jug?"

I looked down and she looked up at me or tried.

She smiled saying "promise me this is forever?"

I smiled and said "it is...and it always will be."

I gently kissed her and she kissed me back as my phone went off.

I said "that's our cue..."

She nodded and we said goodbye to our friends and left. We were at the airport with our parents as my dad hugged me tightly.

He said "you two better not do anything stupid."

Betty nodded as her mom kissed her head saying "make sure she doesn't miss any of her-"

Betty shoved her and I said "I've got it Miss Cooper."

She sighed and nodded lightly as Betty hugged her again.

She said "don't miss me too much, or I'll come back running."

Ms Cooper laughed and I said "get her home safely dad."

He nodded smiling and I said "let's go?"

Betty nodded and we began walking away. We were on the plane in first class curtesy of Veronica. I sat there as suddenly my phone, I looked at it and saw Betty, I turned and saw she had her beats on with her eyes covered, she was underneath a blanket and and a few pillows at her sides."

I laughed and put my headphones on and answered it and sighed.

I said "what's up?"

Suddenly she said "promise me again...this is forever?"

I smiled saying "do you want it to be forever?"

She then said "only if I have you by my side..."

I smiled as she said "promise me this is forever Juggie?"

I chuckled lightly saying "I promise...you're everything to me Elizabeth Cooper...and I wouldn't change that for the world"

She giggled saying "you're everything to me too Forsyth Pendleton Jones the Third."

I scoffed "you said my whole name...Im wounded."

She laughed and suddenly I heard "everyone fasten your seat belts the plane will be taking off in one minute, make sure you laughed or in the overhead bins and the aisle isn't occupied."

I sighed and said "I guess it's time..."

She then said "night Juggie..."

I smiled and said "night."

She hung up and I saw her fall asleep beside me as I opened my window and looked out as the plane took off. As hours went by we are, we spoke, it was amazing, when we landed it was morning.

It was 8 AM and I smiled as we got off the plane, of course I helped her and we got to a limo and we were able to to get to our little resort. We got out of the limo seeing that we had to take a boat.

"God how much did Veronica spend on us! A resort on a boat Juggie!" Betty yelled.

I said "honesty I'm not even sure so I'm quite worried."

She laughed and we got our stuff onto the boat. As the man drove us I held Betty.

She said "I can hear the ocean waves...I can feel the sun on my skin...it's so warm..."

I smiled and kissed her forehead as she held my hand. When we arrived I got our stuff in and helped Betty walk inside seeing the place proofed.

I smiled as she said "how does it look?"

I then said "Veronica has outdone herself with this private island."

She laughed and said "she told me her dad owns like three or was it thirty?"

I laughed and she said "I don't care how it looks like, I care that your here with me."

I smiled and kissed her gently and she held my arms. Once we got settled we decided to go out we got lunch at a seafood place and we went to the mall grabbed some waffle coned ice creams, as we were in a store I was looking around and saw a baby pink sundress.

I said "here, try this on."

She laughed and I helped her to the changing room, she came out and I stared at her.

She said "what do you think?"

I smiled saying "your...your amazing."

She laughed and said "I'll get it then."
