Begin Again

Chapter 11

"NOW TELL ME EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED FROM A TO Z!!" Zayn says in excitement as we sit on the couch in his room, Joe's already left to town.

"Nothing happened Zayn!" I look away giggling.

"Taytay I saw you kissing him this morning!"

"How many times did I tell you not to call me that?" I frown hitting him with a throw pillow.

"Ok I'm sorry!" he laughs, "Now tell me, how did he confess that he loves you?"

"He didn't..." The smile on my face faints gradually.

"Wait what?! Then what happened?" he pauses, "I mean, you both were kissing.." I remain silent patting Benjamin.

"Damn tell me Tay!!" Zayn frowns.

"God!! Stop annoying me Zee! He'll confess soon, and when he does you'll be the first person to know."

"I'm sorry Tay, I don't wanna be mean but..how are you so sure that he'll confess?" he pauses, "or that he actually loves you?"

"What do you mean?! Of course he does love me!" I frown, "you weren't here yesterday to see how concerned he was about me when I fell sick. He didn't leave me in the hospital for a single minute. On top of that, the way he pays attention to every detail related to me, he never takes our conversations for granted and Benjamin is the proof! That day when I was telling him about how I love cats I didn't even think he was listening cause he was so exhausted, but turned out he actually was. He cares about everything I say and do. And there're even more proofs on my list!" I say in anger and upset.

Wish I can also tell him about how passionately Joe was touching me yesterday, I could feel the immense amount of love he has for me throughout the whole night. He was making love to me, it felt like a desire not a lust.

Me and Zayn stop talking or looking at each other for some minutes. This's the first time I've frowned at him. But I don't have a shadow of a doubt that Joe loves me and I'll not let him change this. Joe is the one I've been waiting for my whole life, and I'd give up everything else just to be with him.

I sigh, then I speak up again breaking the silence, "He does love me Zee, don't worry about it. Just give everything it's time to unfold the way it's meant to be." I smile, and he smiles back at me.

"I didn't mean to annoy you Tay. I just want you to be happy, I swear. And you're right, he actually seems like a nice guy. I'm sure everything will work out in the best way for you, you deserve it!"

"Thanks Zee" I smile genuinely.

"Sooo.." Zayn speaks after a couple of minutes, "Would you tell me why do you feel he's your ultimate soulmate? I can play some romantic music in the background to help you speak your heart out!" he winks at me.

"You're unbelievable!" we both laugh. I remain quiet for a minute thinking about what Joe really means to me,

"I just know that nobody was able to make me feel this safe or protected before, I've never loved anyone this eternally. And this's enough for me. It's not like I'm dating a guy for the first time, but nobody has ever took me quite where he does. Even though we both have completely different ways of dealing with life, and probably different lifestyles."

"Lifestyles? You never told me anything about his background."

"Yes cause I don't know about it yet, He hasn't been so open about his life. He only told me a few basic things, like what he is studying and his birthday, he's a Pisces! He also told me that his favorite sport is tennis. That's it, I still don't know who his family is or why did he leave them. But he does come from a very rich one."
