Bird chirps were heard through the bedroom windows, as tiny baby chicks hatched from the nest that rested on the tree brach that was beside your window.
How you missed mornings like this was unimaginable, as you felt like it's been ages since you last slept in the bedroom you grew up in. But the only thing different, was now you slept beside someone, beside a lazy Mingi lying down under the covers being all wrapped up as he didn't wear a shirt to sleep last night.
"Good morning," You whispered at the boy who was sleepily draping his arms around you, admiring how cutely he slept beside you.
He looked like an angel, making you imagine what your mornings would look like after you two move in.
You looked up at your bedroom ceiling, seeing the multiple boy group posters that were carefully sticked onto the surface, with Mingi's polaroid being pasted on top of everything. Which made a small smile creep onto your face, as you remembered how you and Mingi used to call for hours.
"Make sure it sticks!" He said happily as he helped you find a spot for his picture on your ceiling, cheering after you successfully hung his photo. "It sure does look great."
He admired the single polaroid of him amongst the dozens of boy group posters that were hung with multiple good looking idols.
"You look the best." You said, plopping down back onto your bed as you heard Mingi's "aw" through the phone. "But it would look better if you were laying down beside me." You wished as you looked back up at his polaroid.
"Don't worry," He reassured you, giving you a small comforting smile through the phone. "Soon, I'll come home."
"I miss waking up with you beside me," You daydreamed, making him giggle at how cute he found you. "Especially when we just cuddle our mornings away."
"Don't say that," He said sulking, making him miss you even more. "It makes me feel even lonelier here in Seoul."
"It's for our future," You tried to remind him, making him think about why he was there in the first place. "This is why I'm so thankful for you." You lovingly told him, making his heart melt.
