"You've got to stop calling me out." Suho said as he took a seat across an almost-drunken Chanyeol who had one too many drinks. "It's been like what? The third time this week?"
"Second." The man corrected his friend as he tried to sit down straight, struggling to even lift his head up properly.
Chanyeol struggled to put his head up high for a few reasons, but he couldn't pick which of them was it. Maybe it was the alcohol? Or his broken heart? But he knew he longed for companionship, and Suho was the man he had to call.
"Yeol, I don't know why you're doing this." Suho said as he grabbed his own shot glass, pouring one and downing it in seconds. "I thought you and Bora were getting along?"
"We are," He said, running a few fingers through his hair. "But I don't know, maybe I need someone else? Like someone who knows me inside and out." He said trying to flatter his friend who was already grinning at his words.
"You really are drunk." Suho said with a chuckle, downing another shot that Chanyeol poured himself. "To think that I'd be sitting here, hearing words of praise from the one and only."
"Shut up." Chanyeol said as he downed another and another and another, with the two continuing for a few more hours. Enjoying themselves as they didn't meet as often as they used to.
"Well would you look at the time," Suho said as he pointed at the bar's clock. "I guess it's time to finish up on here." He continued as he dialed on his phone, putting it up to his ear.
"And who do you think would get up at what— two in the morning to pick you up?" Chanyeol chuckled at his friend's attempt.
But as the door opened, with the bells chiming as a familiar figure made its way to the two's table. Hugging the man who sat across from the lonely Chanyeol who couldn't put his head up again.
And that was when he knew, without turning he knew it was the girl, his girl.
"Thanks for coming, Lovey." Suho said as he gave you a small kiss on the cheek, making Chanyeol's heart weaken.
"Hello to you too, Yeol." Your words rang through the guy's ears, with him hearing his own heart crumble at those words.
