"do you need a hand?" i ask handing iz her jacket.

"i think we're good, you can stay here for a bit" she said holding hay up.

"alr i'll see you guys later" i said walking away.

"DON'T STAY OUT TOO LATE" she yelled as they walked away.

"i'll try my best." i mumbled, walking over to the drinks table. i grab an empty cup and fill it with vodka. i walk over to a balcony and look out into the darkness, taking big sips of my drink.

"guess who?" a deep raspy voice says, as they put their hands on my shoulders. i spit my drink out in shock.

"what the fuck kol!" i shout over the loud music.

"jesus, why are you always in a mood." he says, leaning against the railing next to me.

"it's just how i am, deal with it." i say, taking another sip of my drink.

"fine." he says, taking the drink out of my hand and taking a sip.

"do you just not have your own things or something." i say, walking away to get another drink. he sighs, following behind me.

"i do, you just don't know how to have funnn!" he complains.

"i don't know how to have fun huh?" i say, sipping my drink. "now, you judge this and tell me it's not fun." i hand him my drink and strut onto the dance floor.

"hey alyssa!" a random guy shouts.

"i don't like you!" i shout back.

"i don't really mind, i like you either way!" he says, dancing.

"who actually are you?" i ask him, seeing kol watching us out the corner of my eye.

"oh, my names tom." tom says, i nod.

"hey tom! let's make someone jealous!" i shout, and immediately after, i slam my lips on his. we make out for a couple of seconds, when i feel hands pull me away.

"sorry, she's just a bit drunk." kol says to tom, pulling me back to the railing.

"jealous are we?" i ask, picking up a drink from the table as he drags me away.

"ha, funny." he says, leaning against the rail.

we stand there in silence, just drinking for a couple of mins, when kol breaks the silence.

"okay, so tell me, what's up with your dating life?" he asks, turning towards me.

"i'm going to be honest, i don't wanna talk about it." i say, going to get another drink, he grabs me by the wrist, pulling me back, "ugh fine." i say, leaning back against the railing.

"so..." he says.

"well, i've dated a couple of times. my most recent had a terrible break up, he cheated on me with my best friend." i said.

kol choked on his drink. "what the fuck."

"uh huh, and they both lied about it, always hanging out behind my back. since then, i've had really bad trust issues." i say, looking down at my drink.

"that's why it's hard for you to make friends." kol says.

"because i'm just worried that they'll leave me stranded." i say, taking another sip. "that's why i'm a bitch." kol smiles.

"i'm sorry to hear that." i scoff, "i mean it," he adds, "i've honestly never experienced something like that."

"anyways..." i say, turning away to get another drink. i get to the table and fill my cup with vodka. i take a sip when a hand grabs me by my wrist.
