I was so close to storming out of class. Normally I would feel bad for Miss Hart. She's a nice girl but she's too quiet, not assertive enough. Well she tries to be all scary and shouty but it never works. So like I said normally I would feel bad for her but today she was pissing me off.
No one in our class would shut up and you can guess what they were talking about. Seth and Austin had tried to distract me but I wasn't deaf. I could hear every little thing they were saying and my temper was just building up.
My fists clenched as another girl had pointed to me, saying something to her friend. Luckily for me someone burst into class, taking all the attention off me.
"Seniors! Seniors! Seniors!" All eyes snapped to the cheering boy as he banged on the wall, some even joining in with his excited holler.
"Nice of you to show up Tyler," Miss Hart tried but she just got waved off by a careless Tyler who sat himself on the middle of our table.
"You do realize there's like five minutes left." The shock was clear on his face that I had actually spoke but he didn't comment on it, only rearranging his face so it didn't look like he expected me to breakdown any second. Did he just think I was going to turn mute?
"First day as a senior. I thought I may as well make an appearance. Plus we've got music next."
"We do?" I asked in shock. I had looked at my timetable but I was just letting the lessons pass by me. I hadn't bothered checking what lessons I had, I just followed Austin and Seth. Although I didn't care too much about school, music was something I loved.
They all smiled creepily seeing my mood being lifted. "Uh-huh."
Seth groaned as Miss Hart droned on, talking about the connotations of discipline. What this had to do with English literature I had no clue. I thought we were reading Shakespeare. Romeo thou art Romeo and all that shit.
"This is boring. I'm leaving. Any of you coming?" Seth asked, slinging his bag over his shoulder. Tyler jumped up at the offer even though he had just arrived. Austin also agreed so that just left me. I wasn't planning on leaving but Seth dragged my chair backwards and pushed me out of it.
"What was that for?" I scoffed from the floor.
"You weren't gonna move otherwise."
"Well I'm not gonna move now." I crossed my arms stubbornly. He just pushed me on the floor I wasn't going anywhere with him.
"Seth, Jade what are you doing?" Miss Hart asked.
"We were just leaving," Austin answered for us, carelessness laced in his tone.
"Get up," Seth demanded but I shook my head.
"No."
"Jade get up."
"I'm not getting up Seth."
"You can't do that," Miss Hart said, attempting to shout.
"Try me," Austin said walking out. These guys probably weren't the best influences. Oh well.
"Fine." I let out a yelp when I felt Seth's hands reach under my armpits. I wiggled in annoyance as he picked me up and put me on Tyler's back. Seth strolled out of class, giving me a wink as I tightened my limbs around my walking chair.
"Call me," Tyler smirked at Miss Hart, walking out.
I slapped him across the head with my good hand. "She's your teacher."
