"Hey Jade." Another day another frat boy in the making. He looked like he just came out of grease with his leather jacket and slicked back hair. To make things worse he had a cocktail stick in between his teeth. He smiled and my eyes zeroed in on the piece of broccoli stuck between his teeth. Seriously, use the toothpick.

I side stepped him, attempting to walk around the boy with a green vegetable decorating his teeth but he dragged me back by my elbow. "Not so fast," he chuckled.

"Let me guess you wanna go on a date with the girl who scored a teacher?"

"Exactly. So what do you say? You, me, Saturday night."

"No. No. No. Oh would you look at that, no," I deadpanned. It'd been a week and they still weren't letting up. They were like leeches. Some of them even came back for a second chance. You think it'd be obvious by now that I will never go on a date with any of them.

"Come on. Why not?" He gestured to his body as if he was showcasing anything good. If it isn't Dean I don't want to look at it to put it simply.

"Because I don't want to. Now scram. I've got more important stuff to do."

"You know I don't like your attitude. It's not attractive."

"Well it's a good thing you're not going on a date with me then," I snapped and he grabbed my wrist.

"Oh but I have to. People would freak out if I got with the infamous Jade Davis." He squeezed my wrist painfully and I glared at him.

      "Let go," I gritted out.

      "It's just one date."

"I don't care if it's just one date. I said no. Now fuck off." I really wasn't in the position to be pissing him off but he was irritating me. I had given up telling guys that I have a boyfriend, they didn't listen anyways.

"I'm not taking no for an answer," he chuckled maliciously, squeezing my wrist so hard I had to hold back a whimper. This wasn't the first time a guy had gotten handsy but this guy was too aggressive for my liking.

"Get the fuck away from her," Austin shouted and I sighed in relief when he entered my vision. He ripped the guys hand away from my wrist and I ran my finger over the tender area. That was definitely gonna bruise.

"We were just having a bit of fun. It's all good man," he smirked at him, raising his hands in defence.

"Fuck off unless you want your teeth knocked out," Austin snarled and the guy scoffed as he walked away, muttering complaints under his breath. Bastard. "You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine. He was just being an asshole. Thank you."

"Have you got a girlfriend?" I checked because I didn't feel like getting jumped.

"Nope I'm staying away from the female species," he chuckled as we window shopped. I had dragged Tyler with me to the mall. Dean's birthday was soon and I was looking for some inspiration. I didn't know what to get him. He'd got me such great, expensive gifts but when I thought of what to get him I came up blank. He pretty much had everything he wanted.

The only thing he didn't have was a Subaru but that wasn't really in my budget. He was obsessed with the Japanese street car and racing in general. But he never drove fast when I was in the car, which I appreciated.

I already bought some colorful clothes for him but that was more for me than him. I needed to buy him an actual gift.

"Is that you yeah?" Tyler shouted. I turned my head to the direction he was looking, instantly recognizing the back of the person's head and the buzzcut idiot next to him. They were both laughing as they turned their heads to us. They must've patched things up.
