The boys had skived on Thursday so we could go to six flags. Everything was going great until we went on the Bizarro. Austin felt a little sick and Seth had turned jaundice but it wasn't until we ate when they both threw up, on me. I tried being sympathetic for their upset stomachs but I wanted nothing more than to sucker punch them. I was stuck with jeans that stunk all day, decorated with chunks of Seth's fish and chips. Fortunately Tyler was wearing a t-shirt under his hoodie so I was able to change out of my top.
But the puke stains contrasted against my black jeans, catching many disgusted looks by strangers. One person even came up and asked me why I had vomit on me. Being the idiot I am I told him it was baby sick. I thought it was more acceptable to have baby puke on you than adult puke! Babies puke uncontrollably! That garnered an even worse reaction because apparently I didn't look old enough to have a child.
Currently I was standing topless, huffing and puffing as I chose what to wear. I had spent most of my day listening to music on my record player. It was like heaven had been scrunched up into a little ball and was shoved into my ears. Music had never sounded so ethereal. Suspension had treated me kindly, it's a shame it'll be over after today.
I scowled looking at all the dresses strewn over my floor. I just couldn't decide. On top of that I didn't have a very big color range. My hair was blue so I had to avoid all type of warm colors. The only colors in dresses I owned were; blue, green and black. And apparently black's not even a color! It's a shade, whatever the hell that means.
I had worn all three colors previously in front of Dean. It just felt like I'd be wearing the same thing and I wanted everything to be special, including my dress. We were going on date, I don't want him to see something he already has. We rarely get to go on dates so it was a big deal, to me at least. I could go in a hi-vis jacket and Dean would still find a way to compliment me. The green really brings out your eyes Jade.
Rifling through my closet again I was hoping to find something different. It was like Narnia in there, surely I could find something I hadn't worn before. Black. Black. Blue. Green. Oh would you look at that, it's a black fucking dress!
"Aha," I exclaimed, examining the white dress. It was off the shoulder with a low boat neckline and had ruching all over. Shimmying out of my shorts I pulled the dress over my head. I frowned at the mirror as I pulled the dress down. It almost looked a little too fancy. Ignoring the shade of white, I looked like I was going to a wedding.
That's it. I give up! I've been at this for forty minutes. Ringing Dean up I waited until he answered before I started with my complaints. "Dean! I can't decide what to wear. This is too hard. All my dresses look the same. Then I finally found one but I look like a wedding guest or the bride," I whined.
"Baby you'll look great in anything, trust me."
See what I mean.
"Not helping," I groaned.
"FaceTime me." Clicking on the FaceTime button I leaned my phone against an empty glass on my bedside table. I moved back so he could see the whole dress and sighed as I saw him smile. "You look perfect."
"Shut up," I grumbled before going back to my closet. Maybe if I had this in a different color...I yelled in joy when I saw a black version of this. In a moment of excitement I pulled the white dress off, almost ripping it and threw it on the bed. I huffed when it slid on to the floor. Bending down I put it carefully on the bed, furrowing my brows when I heard Dean groan lightly.
I thought he might of cut his hand or something in that realm but instead he was staring directly at me, or my body to be more precise. Looking down, I realized I was only in a purple lace push-up bra and a matching thong. "Dean focus. This is serious. I am under some heavy distress," I pulled on my dress and he groaned again, this time in disapproval. "How does this look?"
