After that encounter with Dean I had tried to avoid him as much as possible out of fear I'd blurt out how hot he was to his face. It really did take everything in me not to jump him as he sat on the couch shirtless, unbeknownst to my lascivious thoughts.
Getting hungry I swum to the end of the pool, standing up to be greeted by the sight of manly thighs. Raising my eyes as I pushed my hair out of my face, finding out those muscular thighs belonged to Dean. This was not good for me. He looked so attractive as he lifted the bottom of his shorts up, flashing me a smirk. The sun rained down on him, casting his eyes into a lighter shade of brown, resembling the warmth of the sun I was feeling. Oh yeah, Justin was also here.
Pushing my body out of the water, I made my way to the sun loungers they were sitting on. "Hey guys," I smiled, stealing Justin's water bottle. I was out of breath from doing multiple laps in the pool and as a result my chest heaved, the movement drawing Dean's attention.
"I'm gonna get food do you want anything?" I asked between short breaths. They both shook their heads negatively so I went into the kitchen, searching through the cupboards to see what we had. We didn't have much except for a bunch of fruit so I cut it all up, making a fruit platter.
I walked back out to the patio, hearing Justin say, "We need to get you a girlfriend."
"Why?" Dean and I said at the same time as I laid next to them, resting the plate on my stomach as I picked up a bunch of grapes.
"Because," he started, giving me a look, "I think he could do with a girlfriend. A nice black haired girlfriend with dark brown eyes." How oddly specific.
"I prefer green eyes."
"Of course you do," Justin muttered, putting his sunglasses over his eyes.
"Do you even want a girlfriend?" I asked Dean.
"Not really," he said, strongly holding eye contact with my green eyes.
"See? He doesn't want a girlfriend, leave him alone."
"I just think he should get a girlfriend. When was the last time you had a girlfriend?"
"Uhh probably high school. I might have had girlfriend at the start of college but I can't really remember, it wouldn't of been serious though. I see no point in getting a girl, I've already got enough stuff going on in my life. I'm still getting used to my new apartment now that I've moved out of that shitty guest house."
"I told you, you should've stayed with us," Justin intervened.
"Plus I'm a teacher and I'm thinking of getting a dog. I've got a full life right now, I'm sated."
"You don't need a girlfriend," I assured him, ignoring the dirty Justin was giving me right now. "Have you chosen what dog you're getting?"
"I'm stuck between two. Come here, I'll show you."
I jumped up at the opportunity to see a dog. I absolutely love dogs. Going to the back of his chair, I leaned over him as he opened his camera roll. "First option. What do you think?" He showed me a black Great Dane.
"That's cute. Show me the other one." I leaned over, popping a strawberry in his mouth before resting my hands the back of his chair.
Between his chewing he muttered, "You're fucking nails are digging into my back."
"Sorry," I apologized, putting my arms loosely over his neck. My arms were hurting and they were getting tired resting awkwardly next to my sides. Yeah that's my excuse. He swiped the screen to show a golden Akita with a white belly. "Akita's are super cute. Plus they're smaller than Great Danes and have a higher life expectancy."
