I was alarmed when Dean's lips pressed onto mine while I had a large scoop of ice cream in my mouth. He moved back when his tongue touched something cold that definitely wasn't my tongue.
"Ice cream," I garbled out, swallowing the melting substance as I presented the cup of honeycomb ice cream. I stepped into his apartment offering him a scoop and he wrapped his lips around the plastic spoon tasting the best flavour of ice cream in all time.
"Nice," he hummed. "But why are you eating ice cream at eleven in the morning?"
"It's a breakfast food. Besides I need something to wake me up since you forced me over here so early," I argued.
"Forced you here?" He mused, wrapping his strong arms around me and I stood on my tiptoes so I could reach his lips.
"Mhm."
"Last time I checked you were begging to spend time with me," he said egotistically and I rolled my eyes at his exaggeration. I simply suggested we saw each other because we hadn't had any alone time together. He came to my house a lot but Justin was there and at school everyone else was there so we couldn't act like ourselves.
Just as he went to kiss me I swerved him, eating my ice cream. "Sorry," I shrugged unapologetically. He grabbed my jaw, pulling me into a kiss I couldn't resist. I wiped off my lip gloss that had spread onto his lips.
"Are you hungry?" He asked as I twirled his soft hair.
"Nope. I already ate but I do need to go to the bathroom," I grinned, walking off to his bathroom. After doing my business I washed my hands, about to open the door when I heard another voice, another very familiar voice. Fuck! What was he doing here?
I pressed my ear up against the door so I could eavesdrop better. "Ooh who's in your bathroom?" Justin teased, clearly hearing the loud flush that I was currently cursing at.
"Just my friend," Dean replied nonchalantly. I don't know how he was being so calm, my heart was pounding out of my chest.
"And is this a special friend?"
"Yes now get out," he grumbled.
"Aww my Deans growing up." I heard a slap, another slap, then a few more slaps before they started chuckling. "Well I'll let you and your friend be since you're being all secretive. But tell me one thing is she hot?"
I wrinkled my nose up at his question. Of course he'd ask that. If only he knew I was hiding in the bathroom. "You know I have a feeling she wouldn't be your type."
Definitely not his type.
"What does she look like?"
Stop talking Justin.
"You're not getting any details now fuck off."
"Aww why not? Please? Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, t⏤"
"Justin it's too early for your bullshit. My lips are sealed."
"You're no fun." I could practically hear Justin's ugly pout as the front door shut.
"All clear!" Dean shouted and I let out a sigh. Walking outside of my hiding space, I was met by Dean's calm exterior.
"What the hell was he doing here?" I asked, still slightly rattled by his unexpected presence.
"He has a key so he comes whenever he feels like."
"You gave him a key and you thought here would be the safest place for us to be?" I looked at him like he was an idiot because he was.
