COURTNEY'S POINT OF VIEW:
That has got to be one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make.
Everything in my body was telling me to forget about everyone else and just see my brother, but I knew that was getting me no where. I am aware I am already in everyone's firing lines, so I want to keep everyone happy and think for myself, game wise. I mean, it'll be a lot better to see my brother with a million dollars in my back pocket. So I thinking taking an added advantage was a good idea, because at least two people still get there loved one. I may have to do damage control with the other two, but at least I have a strong chance of winning immunity.
When chosing who got to see there loved one, the answers was obvious to me. Erika and Harrison had been talking about this moment before they even came here, and their reactions seemed the most heart-felt. My heart just felt something so powerful when they came in contact with their loved ones, and the trip back to camp I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
It was especially nice to see new people at our camp, we get so sick of each other, that seeing new faces, even though their not my family faces, it's nice just to show people our camp. It's like having exchange students at your school, you just want to be there friend and be around them. It was fun showing them the way we live, the food we eat and where we sleep. They were completely blown away.
It was just really nice to see them happy, although I couldn't ignore the upset feelings fro Mora, Kate and Bennett.
HARRISON'S POINT OF VIEW:
When Courtney said my name and revealed that Harriet, my wife, would be able to come back to camp, I think I died and came back to life.
I didn't know what to do with myself. I was lost!
Even though Courtney may have done it as a strategic move, I still look to her as a saint. You can give me one-hundred million dollars, and I would always chose to spend time with my wife. We have been married for thirty-eight years and they have been the best years of my life. I am so apreciative of her and lovely her unconditionally.
We went through the tours of the camp and the environment in which we live, introductions and what not, then we just decided we'd sit on the beach, by ourselves.
"How are you going out here?" Harriet asks
"Not as fantastically as I hoped" I cringe
"What's happening? Is it that Mora girl, she seems very...." Harriet screws her face
"Well, I had a really good pal, Leon, you would have loved him, and me and him were going far, but it was Courtney who flipped on us, and Leon got sent home. Mora is actually on my side, I think?" I pout
"Aw" she hugs, "so where do you stand now?" Harriet catechizes
"I'll pretty sure I'm next" I say, upset
"No, I won't let that happen!" Harriet says in her usual strong-willed and opinionated tone. It's her determination for justice that makes me adore her even more
"Well I don't know what to do darl" I throw my hands
"Well, you say the majority is Kate, Bennett, Erika and Courtney, there can only be three people at the end, who is at the bottom of that alliance, just pull them in?" Harriet suggests
"I was thinking that. But Courtney, who is most likely at the bottom of that alliance has been a flip vote basically the entire time. Her and Mora aren't really best buds, they never really have. But that three is so tight, it's so tricky" I hiss
I can tell Harriet is thinking, she presses her lips and looks at the sky
"What is Erika like?" she asks
"She has a huge heart, but she is tight to those two. We used to be super tight at the start of the game however, we were driven apart from the Tribe Swap" I explain
"Well, I think you have two options here" Harriet speaks
"Let me hear it. Anything sounds good to me at this point" I shake my head
"Option one, turn everyone against Courtney and just say she can't get any further because she will win" Harriet suggests, "Or option two, get Courtney on your side because she won't get to final three with those guys, now that is just pure logic, then you could, it sounds bad, but just guilt Erika into voting with you, because she wouldn't want to turn against Courtney after just letting her husband visit the island, she seems like the type of person that won't do anything she will feel bad about. Who knows, she wouldn't even have to vote Kate or Bennett, you can turn her against Mora"
"Wow" I say, "where have you been the last thirty days"
"I believe in you, I know you can do it" she says, before giving me a peck on the cheek.
I really feel like Harriet's visit really brought a new drive in the way I want to play this game, I believe I can make it past the next two votes, I just really need to focus.
ERIKA'S POINT VIEW:
The suns is beginning to set, and the twilight sky paints a beautiful landscape of pinks, oranges and yellows. The sun peaks over the horizon line, letting itself be seen for a last few moments.
Allen and I ripple our way through the ocean and situate ourselves in the water. We squat down in a shallow area of the water.
"I haven't even asked you how you've been" Allen smirks
"Allen, it has been tough, but I am enjoying every moment of it" I smile
"How are you coping physically? You look so much skinner, it's insane!" Allen looks amazed
"It's a pretty efficient diet, it's called starvation" I smile sarcastically. Allen laughs
"What about the game? Comfortable? Everyone seems to love you!" Allen says joyfully
"I am in a very fantastic, yet scary spot" I bite my lip
"Elaboration needed" Allen says
"Well, I am in a good three person alliance, which hyperthetically sounds fantastic for a final three, but the two others in my alliance, don't want to go to the end with each other. So, one day or another, I have to pick a side, and I feel like that day may be coming soon" I admit
"Oh damn, who do you trust more?" Allen asks
"Probably Kate, but I do love Bennett" I remark
"Can you beat Kate?" questions Allen
"Oh, definitely not. It'd be tight against Bennett though, I'd rather sit with him at the end" I confess
"Well, then you are going to have to work out if your going to play with loyalty or play to win" Allen lays down the facts. "What is your ideal final three?"
It takes me a moment to answer this, mainly because I have never thought about it
"Probably, Bennett, Kate and myself" I shrug
"Now, if you were playing to win, who would you want?" Allen says, which really gets me thinking
"I'd say Harrison, Bennett and myself" I bite my lip. I feel bad not including Kate, but I know I cannot take her to the end in order to win
"Well darling, you have to take responsibilty of your game if that is the outcome you want. You need to fight for what you want and make the moves. You can do it" Allen talks
It really gets my mind thinking. What I thought the next Tribal Council would be a very easy vote, might not be after all. I will need to talk to people and see what is best for me, because I can't afford to be left out of any plans, I have made it this far, it is time for me to work it
