SURVIVOR - Palau

DAY 1 - Conspiring so soon?

UNIVERSAL POINT OF VIEW:

The sun breaks over the rock islands of Palau. The beautiful early morning breeze, brushes gently along the shores of the mesmerising beaches. The crystal clear waters lay calm, not a wave or ripple in sight. The palm trees stand still like soldiers as the occasion gush of wind will barge through and make the palms wave wild.

A perfect scenery for a season of Survivor

The impeccably still water breaks, as two speed boats zip through the oceans. On one of the several scattered islands, host Jeff Probst stands, waiting for the contestants to join him.

As the two boats arrive at the shore, sixteen eager people get off and walk heroically and excitedly up the beach towards Jeff.

Each tribe walks up in a single file line. Kate leading the Belau tribe holding a red flag, and Tom leading the Malakal tribe holding a blue flag.

As they arrive, the all stand on the mat corresponding to the colour of the flag. Already eyes are darting around trying to assess each other and work each other out

"Welcome, to Survivor - Palau! Here we are standing on the beautiful Rock Islands of Palau"

Everyone looks around amazed by the beauty of their surroundings

"39 days, this season will last for, and in order to win it's simple. Stay in the game for all 39 of those days"

Malicious smiles crept upon the crowd

"Now are you ready to get into the game" Jeff called

An uproar yeses was yelled from the crowd of contestants

"Now I'm going to chuck you all a map that will lead you to your camp" Jeff threw the maps to one person from each tribe "when you receive these maps, get onto one of the paddleboats and paddle back to the main island from their follow your map and you'll soon find your way to your camp with the adventure of Survivor begins.

Everybody eagerly and excitedly runs to the paddleboat where immediately they get out into the water and begin paddling.

"This, is going to be one epic season" Jeff says

HARRISON'S DIARY CAM

As soon as Jeff threw me the map and I caught it, I knew this was going to be an epic season. Immediately I found that we had an athletic tribe which will seriously help us in challenges, or it just could be a tribe full of threats.

The walk to camp was beautiful the scenery of Palau is just amazing. Immediately everybody was talking, trying to get to know one another. From first appearance, the biggest threat is Conor. He just seem to be talking to everyone way too much, like he was trying to strategise already. Everyone was talking for fun and trying to get to know each other, but his socialisation seemed more for gameplay, like he was trying to get everyone to like him

Just on the way to camp I found that Leon and Erika were quite nice people whether or not I decide to create an alliance with them about is the next request.

DOROTHY'S DIARY CAM

Already my eyes are darting around trying to work everyone out and see where everyone is at. Immediately I can see that Kate and I are playing similar games, and so someone like that might have to be one of the first to go.

I can already see that Kate is quite conniving like me, although she's a lot more social and a lot younger than me. More people will like her she's more appealing to a broader range of people, I've got to stop that. Or I could work at it the other way, and make her my alliance. But if so, I'm going have to make sure that I'm in control of her.
