UNIVERSAL POINT OF VIEW:
"Alright, come on in guys!" the infamous host, Jeff Probst calls out.
The Malakal file in, with their torches alit with flame. One at a time there put their torches aside and sit down around the pit of fire that takes the centre of Tribal Council. Jeff stands watching them all prepare for the grilling of his questions
"Welcome, everyone" Jeff greets
"Twice in a row, not a good feeling, hey" Jeff says to the group
"Debatable" Mora speaks up
"Almost immediately Mora, you make a comment that could start something. Do you like starting conflict, or just being apart of it?" Jeff asks
"You know what Jeff, a part of me thrives off being here at Tribal Council and voting people out. Whereas conflict is just apart of me. It follows me wherever I go. It's like having hair, it's apart of me just like
conflict is"
A stunned Sean pulls back in surprise
"Lindsay, you seem to be Mora's closest person out here, do you love Tribal Council as much as she does?" Jeff directs a questions to Lindsay
"Um, I love that she loves it" she says giggling, although no one laughs in response, "but no, I get bit sad seeing someone go"
"Well, lets start at the beginning of the day. Kyle, how did the challenge go, you didn't get to participate, but how did you see it went?" Jeff wonders
"Yea well, we obviously lost. I won't lie about it, there were some dismal efforts today" Kyle replies
"Who by?" Jeff grills
"Ahh, mainly Lindsay and Tom. They really let us down I think" Kyles says a little guilty
"Tom, did you feel you let the team down?" Jeff asks
"Totally. Water isn't my strong point and I knew I'd have to work hard to bring home the win, but I just couldn't today" Tom admits
"Do you think that it is getting to that point in the game, where you have to really look at your tribe and get out the weakest, just to strengthen you Jonathan?" Jeff wonders
"It's definitely in major consideration" Jonathan nods
"What else would you be considering if you weren't considering strengthening your tribe?" Jeff asks Jonathan again
"Well, I need to consider myself first and the most. So I need to look at my options of maybe voting out threats or keeping numbers on my side" Jonathan adds
"Sean, you were part of a minority last Tribal Council, has anything changed since then?" Jeff questions
"It's hard to tell, I mean, people can say one thing to make you feel safe, but do they mean it" Sean answers
Tom and Kyle's heads dart around the room, inconspicuously
"How does it make you feel Mora, when someone on a previous minority, says someone has made them feel safe. Is someone double-crossing you?" Jeff queries
"It makes me feel humoured. Double-crossing would be a joke
to do at this point, because you know you will be sent packing if you do" Mora states
"So your threatening anyone who is even thinking about changing the alliances, saying you'll get them out?" Jeff wonders
"Yes I am" Mora pouts
"Do you have that kind of power Mora?" Jeff questions
Before she can even answer, Sean speaks up
"She likes to think she does!" he pipes
"So she doesn't have that power?" Jeff asks Sean
"No. No one does" Sean nods
"See Sean, this is why no one likes you" Mora prods
"I like him.. so your wrong. No one likes you!" Courtney mutters
"Obviously not. Because I have more people in my alliance" Mora says
"The only reason you have an alliance is because anyone can beat you! Your so dumb, oh my god! No one likes you at all, because you are a joke. That's why their taking you to the end, because anyone can beat you!" Courtney says very angrily
"Okay then" Mora chuckles
"Well... with that, I think it is time for the vote. Kyle, your up!" Jeff instructs and Kyle gets up to cast his vote.
***
"I'll tally the votes" Jeff says, dramatically among the fire lit scenery
"Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes" Jeff says, as he feels his way into the voting urn.
Jonathan likes as if he cannot breath. He stares at the floor, thinking about his vote.
Sean shows no emotion, but strength. He is determined he has done enough
Lindsay and Mora sit together, excited for the vote. Completely unaffected.
"First vote... Sean"
Sean's head drops, but he lifts it up to look stronger and more determined. Mora looks down the row of people and laughs a little at him.
"Sean... that's two votes Sean"
Courtney pats Sean's back
"Lindsay... one vote Lindsay, two votes Sean"
Lindsay pulls a nervous face. Mora whispers that it'll be fine.
"Lindsay. We are tied, two votes Lindsay, two votes Sean"
Jonathan looks nervously at each other.
"Sean. Three votes Sean, two votes Lindsay"
Sean shakes his head. Frustrated and annoyed
"Lindsay! Tied again, three votes Lindsay, three votes Sean. One vote left"
"Oh my god!" Lindsay says quietly realising Tom, Kyle or Jonathan must have voted for her
Tom looks down at Kyle. If the next vote is for Lindsay, Kyle would have obeyed him in voting Lindsay. He prays this is the case
"Fourth person voted out of Survivor Palau... Sean! That's four votes, that's enough, bring me your torch and leave the Tribal Council area immediately.
Sean gets up shaking his head. He is absolutely disappointed.
He brings his torch up and places it in front of Jeff. Jeff grabs the snuffer and places it over the flame
"Sean... the tribe has spoken"
Sean doesn't look back at anyone as he takes down the path, away from Tribal Council.
Courtney is most devastated. Shaking her head as Mora smiles at her.
"Now if tonight has said anything it is this; you cannot trust anyone, no matter what they have said to you. Grab your stuff head back to camp. Goodnight"
The Malakal tribe walk back to camp, with lots of tension lingering in the air.
