DAY 29 - Rope-a-Dope

UNIVERSAL POINT OF VIEW:

"Come on in Juntos!" host, Jeff Probst calls out as the seven walk through the abyss of jungle, and into a clearing in the trees. The castaways smile as seven obstacles of rope stand before them.

They notice Jeff standing pristine and clean, unlike them, next to the immunity stand. He smiles as they shuffle onto the mat. There is more room for all of them now, as more and more people leave.

"Welcome everyone, to your next immunity -" Jeff begins, but is interrupted from a crack in the sky. A loud bangs spreads over the island, and every creature reacts in hurry. Birds fly from there trees and the castaways shutter in fear. As the group settle themselves, from an enormous crack of thunder, the sky empties and rain come belting down. Everyone is to tired to react in dismay, and stands there accepting more natural torture to be brought upon them

"Things just got exciting" Jeff smiles. Erika shakes her head, uncomfortably.

"As I was saying, welcome to your next immunity challenge" Jeff announces, "First thing's first, Leon, I will take back immunity"

Leon strides towards Jeff, but takes the necklace off and hands it to Jeff himself. Jeff places the necklace on the stand as Leon retakes his position on the mat. 

"In today's challenge, you will all be attached to a rope that is tangled around an obstacle frame that you will have to jump and climb through in order to untangle it and make your way to the finish. The first three to finish will then participate in a final round, where you will untangle the rope through a three-story obstacle course. The first person to make it to the end, wins immunity" Jeff explains

Many nod their heads, excited and keen. Others eyes widen at the thought of the agility and energy needed. Twenty-nine days taking a toll on their bodies

"Today, the winner will win immunity and reward, and I can guarantee this is one you want to win" Jeff states, and everyone bites their lips eagerly engaged to see what they are competing for. 

"The win will take a trip to a Palauan village and stay in a hut. You will be fed a feast for dinner. You will be fully equipped with toiletries and shower" Jeff tells them

The uproar is indescribable. Everyone latches on to each other, each sharing a moment of desperation. Erika falls to her knees, eye wide. Everyone laughs and clenches there fists, nervously and excited.

"Worth playing for?" Jeff beams, drawing the excited energy from the group and channeling it into his delivery.

"Hell yeah!" Harrison is heard calling out over the group

"Alright then, we'll draw for spots and get to it" Jeff announces

Everyone is attached to a rope in ready at the start of the course. There goal is to untwist themselves through the ropes to get to the end. 

"Survivor's ready... Go!" Jeff calls, and the everyone moves directly and rapidly.

Mora throws her entire body through the loops extremely agile and fast, taking an early lead.

Not far behind is Leon and Bennett, both sporty guys using quick witted coordination to get throw the ropes.

Kate is not giving up either, as she flips over the pole and steps through a tight loop, only seconds behind Leon and Bennett.

Erika struggles at the start, examining her ropes, attempting to work out her route.

Bennett pulls ahead further then Leon and begins to creep up on Mora. In perfect synchronization, Mora and Bennett jump over the pole and throw the same loop.
