" ughh " y/n groaned as she woke up in an empty king sized bed alone .
her head hurted from the previous night . " you're awake " mikey walked out of the bathroom , shirtless , with just his jacket loosely hanging on his shoulders . y/n face turn into a deep shade of red as she quickly turn away . " where am i ? why are you here ? " " what do you mean ? this is my place . gez you were completely wasted yesterday . " he said using his towel to wipe his wet hair . " go take a shower . you stink " he threw her his towel .
" you- " she was offended but he was right . the alcohol from last night still lingered around her . she didn't seem to freak out as much so mikey was guessing she probably forgot about the main event of yesterday . " i don't have anything to wear " she fiddled with her fingers embarrassed . " i washed your clothes because i knew you had work today . " this small act of mikey's made y/n's heart skip a beat . she stepped into the shower , feeling the warm water fall onto her chest . she had a familiar pain in the back of her throat . ' no no . its the shots right ? there's no way. " she quickly cleaned up herself and put on her clean clothes .
she went out seeing mikey on his cellphone with a lollipop in his mouth . " need me to drop you off ? " y/n eyes widened in shock . " NO . are you insane , their gonna see you " she scolded as he frowned . " whats wrong with thatt " he whined as if he was a five year old . " did you forget im in the hunt for you ? " she rolled her eyes . technically speaking it was against the rules to not disclose anything she knew about their target . she could get into serious trouble . " w-well im leaving " with that y/n stormed out of his apartment , heading towards her work building . to her surprise , mikey's place was just a walking distance from her work space . yet the police still couldn't get hold of him ? how good is he exactly ? " im here " y/n announced the moment she stepped into the work room . naoto was standing infront of everyone with a presentation silde . all eyes were on you , for a moment you thought you were late and interrupted their meeting . " y/n , take a seat , we are just about to start . " she seat at her assigned place as a thick stack of paper stapled neatly was placed infront of her .
" we have discovered more information regrading the tokyo manji gang and manjiro sano . " naoto spoke . " recently some had spotted mikey in a bar . " y/n heart skipped a beat . " y/n wanna grab lunch ? " naoto asked while y/n nodded . " this case is cracking my brain . how can we get manjiro sano " naoto sighed taking a bite out of his sandwich . y/n could feel her hands shake even ever they talked about mikey . the fact that she was hiding so much from everyone . she was on thin ice . y/n did reply to naoto but instead she was zoning out .
