y/n eyes slightly opened , feeling how her body stopped falling .
she looked up seeing how mikey was holding onto one of her hands to prevent her from falling . he had sweat rolling down the side of his face . he was holding onto her hand tightly for dear life . " please... " his tears landed onto her face . he looked like he was barely holding onto her . the friction of their hand decreased gradually . " why... " she blurted out , on the brink of death . " how am i suppose to go on without you ?! you are my partner in crime , my ride or die . please ... live for me . " he shouted out in this intense situation . the grip on y/n's loosened slightly as mikey was starting to get tired .
" hold on to me ! " mikey gritted his teeth in frustration . y/n gave him a sad laugh . " i love you . " with that , her hand slipped off mikey's causing her to free fall down towards the ground . " NO " mikey watched in horror . as he saw how y/n landed onto the ground as blood started to spill from her head causing many to crowd around her . he wasted no time to rushing down , seeing her unconscious . he immediately held onto her as blood stained his hands . " why... why... " mikey shouted out in regret as he held her close to his chest. regret and disappointed that he had failed to hold her tight enough . the crowd had already dialled the ambulance . although the chances of her surviving was slim , there was still that 5% chance . her heart was still beating .

mikey sat out the emergency operation room yet again . it was just 2 days ago that he was here but now he was once again seated here alone . he felt a similar feeling as when he was here for emma . anxious , scared and more than alone . someone he truly cared and loved was fighting for their life in there . the fact that he could loose y/n again brought tears to his eyes . although he wasn't an individual that teared easily . y/n meant so much more to him that she thought . the past 10 years had been hell to him , but he swore to himself that he was going to wait for her . and since then everyday , he had to find a coping mechanism due to his loss . he was even more anxious as this time her life was on the line . if she was gone , she was never going to return .
after hours of waiting , the door to the operation room open as a professional dressed in a white suit stepped out . mikey gulp before standing up , awaiting for the news . " you are y/n's... ? " " i am her boyfriend " the doctor nodded before proceeding . " y/n is truly a fighter , she had lost a lot of blood yet she still managed to pull through . " mikey felt a wave of relief wash him . he had never felt this glad about something so negative . " but her mental health isn't the best , so i suggest you to bring her to a therapist . " this didn't come by surprise . through everything that had happened , he wouldn't have believed her if she told him she was fine .
he only nodded returning a 90 degree bow to the doctor . " you may visit her . " with that the doctor walked off . mikey wasted no time , quietly turning the nob to her room . in the plain white simple room revealed y/n , unconscious on the pure white sheets . she had tubes that connected everywhere and an oxygen mask . his heart ached at the sight . seeing the love of his life surviving on the hospital tubes . although he had no idea when she was going to wake up or how she was going to react . he felt disappointed at how he repeatedly failed to protect her . causing these incidents to happen . how he wish he could trade places with her right now . he would rather be the one suffering in the position than to see y/n in it .
mikey sighed . as much as he wanted y/n to still be part of toman , he had to let her leave for the benefit of her safety . he knew that if she continued being in toman , things will only get worse over time . he wasn't going to let this happen again . he would leave toman if it was going to be for y/n . toman may be important to him but it was nothing compared to the place y/n held in his heart . the room was pin drop silent . other than the monitor that had a beeping sound , it was basically quiet . usually if mikey and y/n were together , it would be filled with her joy and laughter . but now , the atmosphere felt empty and dead . he missed hearing her laugher and seeing the light in her eyes everytime he saw her . how y/n would look at him with love in her eyes and how she would always be so passionate in the things she loved .
not only that , she was a great listener . she could sit there for hours listening to mikey talk about his friends and how they founded toman . she could hear him talk on and on without interrupting him . she was the one who listened to all mikey's rents and frustrations . he had so much to tell her right now . " please wake up soon , i have so much i want to rent right now . " he didn't care if y/n couldn't hear him . he felt his eyes gloss up with tears . he did indeed love her so much . she was a part of his life that he would never neglect no matter what .
safe to say that he had completely devoted his heart to her .
