its been two days since y/n and naoto did it .
they tried their best not to make it awkward between it other . after all , they didn't feel anything for each other . it was purely just for the experience . y/n also haven't talk to mikey for a while . not that she craved to see him but her days felt boring . it was just work after work as their department was still struggling to find mikey and his companion . " y/n ? are you okay ? " naoto walked towards her . she had her head on the table , she looked restless . " just tired " she stayed up to 2am just to finish up the reports . she barely got sufficient sleep . " im going to get lunch , do you want anything ? " " just a sandwich will do " naoto nodded and headed off to get the food .
there were times y/n wanted to just disclose everything because of how tiring this case was . " here " naoto handed her the sandwich along with a cup of coffee . " thanks " she munch into the sandwich as her attention was fixed onto her laptop . " i've actually made a discovery . " naoto said enthusiastically as he pulled out his phone opening his photo gallery app . her attention now on naoto instead . " there might be a girl that working with mikey as they were seen a couple of times but unfortunately we couldn't get hold of her face " ' oh not this again ' y/n mentally curses . she really needed to stop being with mikey . the day came to another end , y/n lazily packed her bag , ready to leave the place . " see you tomorrow " naoto bid his goodbye to her as they went down the same lift . it was late , she decided to just get a cab instead of taking the public transport . the road was practically empty , it would take quite awhile for her to catch a cab . by then everyone had already left the facility . it was just the night breeze and y/n at the side of the street . her feet were aching from the waiting when suddenly a black motorcycle appeared instead of a car . there was a gush of smoke that followed behind causing y/n to choke and coughed alittle . she brushed the smoke away allowing her to see who it was that had stopped infront of her .
her eyes widened . that guy is insane . " mikey ? what the fuck are you doing here " she whispered shouted while she desperately looked left and right to see if there was anyone . " picking you up " he stuck out his tongue . " you know people are going to see us right ? " she said fuming with anger at his stupid act . " wouldn't they have a clear view of you with me right now if you don't hop on ? " her palms balled into fists as she got on in defeat . " hurry lets go " " hold on then " he stepped on the paddle as the bike went on full speed resulting in y/n to grab onto mikey's waist in shock . " where are you going ? " she asked realising this isn't the route to his house or hers . " around the city " his eyes fixed on the empty road as he slowed down alittle .
" what- ?! " she got cut off by mikey speeding up again . her hair swayed in the strong wind as they drove around the area . y/n had never really been on a motorcycle so this experience was new to her . it was fun and relaxing . although it was nerve wreaking because of how fast he went , he managed to make it enjoyable . her palms tightly clenched on his jacket , their bodies close to each other . " how isit ? " mikey asked , raising his voice , trying to overcome the loud engines of the bike . " not bad " y/n admitted as a smile creeped onto her lips unconsciously .
after a few more minutes , mikey stopped the bike at his place . helping her get off and unstrap her helmet . " mikey... " y/n called out in a soft voice as mikey started walking into his apartment while y/n just stayed at their original place . " hm ? " he turned back to look at her , his hands in his pocket . " we need to stop seeing each other , they are suspicious " mikey didn't seem affected by this . " hm ? then let them know " " what ?! no . i can't lose the job " who was going to support her financially if she didn't have a job ? being a detective was enough to support her and as well gave her alittle more to spend on her own interest from time to time .
