Chapter 8

"Khanani it's 00:00am im too tired to drive home can I sleep over?" Tyler asked me

"Uhhh no" I said

He sat up so fast and gave me a seriously confused look making me giggle. He's really cute and his tired voice is just whew lord have mercy but he's bestie so I can't do anything.

"But like why? Im tired you want me to crash and die?"

"No but I don't know where you're gonna sleep here"

"I can sleep in your bed...with you"

"My bed is queen size"

"We'll cuddle up and stay close so you know we're both on the bed, basic procedure for the comfort"

"What? Nah you wild anyway let's go"

"Where?"

"To your place im dropping you off, give me your keys"

"Uhh nigga no."

I grabbed his keys and we walked to his car, I forcefully put him in and asked for his address and put it in the GPS. I played Sade the love deluxe album and drove to his place. He fell asleep on the way there, I sang along to the songs and had a good time driving a very expensive dream car of mine, we arrived at the gate and I pressed all the buttons on his remote until the gate finally opened. I drove into his large driveway and parked right in front of the door, his door was unlocked so we just went in, Tyler was still sleepy but he managed to make it up the stairs, I walked him to a bedroom that was super bright and colourful and dropped him off in what I assume was his bad. Once he got in the covers he smiled and fell asleep.

"Goodnight angel, I'll talk to you later sleep well love." I said to him and kissed his cheek goodnight.

A smile formed on his face while he was asleep and he started sleep talking and said
"Khanani...so sweet...shut up...come to bed baby...i love...*snores*"

I don't know what he was trying to say but I was involved in this dream. I walked out of the room and went downstairs to go home, the time was now 2am, I was getting a little tired and decided to sleepover, I found a few blankets and pillows and fell asleep on his couch. I went to sleep wondering what that dream was about.

Sunday 11:00am

"*sniff sniff* bacon and...waffles?" What the fuck kind of combination was that? And where am I?

"Morning Khanani"

"Haibo! Kanti what's going on?"

"I assume the first word is a reaction like huh? And also you fell asleep on my couch and now I'm making us breakfast, that's what couples do duh"

What the fuck is he on right now?

"Uhm okay morning!"

"Damn you didn't sleep with a bonnet on...you look like will.i.am with that half up half down hairstyle"

"Haha very funny, of course I didn't sleep with a bonnet, I'm even still in my outfit from yesterday, it was so uncomfortable" I said as I went to go sit on his kitchen counter as he cooked...shirtless if I may add

"You should have just come to bed with me, my arms are way more comfy than the sofa"

"And I'll pass, you'll just crush me"

He chuckled at my comment and placed the food on a plate for me.

"Thank you, you are too kind"

He nodded and ran upstairs fetching a huge shirt and green boxers. As he was coming back I couldn't stop looking at his 8 pack, he looked so skinny with clothes on but my gosh he was built fuck!

"Here go shower and then put this on, you'll be more comfy, it is a Sunday after all you should rest before your first day of work tomorrow" he said and that made me smile, he kissed my cheek, grabbed his plate and sat in front of me and we chatted while eating.

"Oh and stop staring at me I know I'm beautiful...bitch"

"That sentence was going so well but okay whatever you say love."

"I just realised we actually didn't talk about anything yesterday, just random stuff and dancing to music" Tyler said

"Yeah but it was fun tho."

"Yeah it was you just told me your full name, tell me everything now Gregory"

"ITS BAE TO YOU! and yes my name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, I'm 28, I have a mom, sister and cousin. I lived with my grandma for a while until she passed away, I like music and a lot of other things like drawing, designing, creating, acting, directing and yeah. I don't have a dad but it's okay tho, I like being around my friends and riding bikes or our skateboards around the city, watching sunsets literally anywhere, finding new places, meeting new people, cars, travelling and being happy. I be lonely sometimes but I just buy cars to fill that void, I just wanna experience real love one day and hold onto it forever, love is such a beautiful thing, it really is."

"That was so beautiful, you'll find it one day and maybe even sooner than you think love" I said giving him a hug

"Awwww you're so sweet Khanani, I have a feeling the next one's gonna be genuine"

"Me too" I said smiling down at his face

I never noticed how pretty his face was, his lips were so perfect and plump, they had a tint of pink and were so kissable, his eyes were a beautiful dark brown, they shined in the sunlight and just radiated peace, his nose had a pretty shape, it really showed he was African, his ears were really big and beautiful, it must feel nice to just hold and rub them. My hands were still behind his back from when we hugged, his arms were still on my lower back and his eyes were still connected to mine, he flashed me a smiled and giggled lowly, making me do the same as well. His voice was so warm and welcoming, I just loved hearing this man talk, I hope he finds his true love one day and pretty soon, he deserves happiness.

"I'm gonna go shower now" I said to him, walking around the second floor looking for the bathroom finally finding it. I went in with the clothes he gave me and locked the door.

"Time to get ready for my lazy day"

Tyler's pov

Oh my gosh that was so intense! I know she felt something in that long ass stare, there's no way she didn't, ugh I just wanted to kiss her so bad then take her on a picnic and spoil her. She left her phone on the kitchen counter and it was dying, I decided to charge it in the kitchen where she can see it. I began to walk away so I can get ready for the day until she got a notification. I'm not one to be nosy but I just couldn't help myself, her phone was still unlocked and she got 8 new notifications from Crystal. They were pictures and videos of me and Khanani sharing a milkshake while staring into each others eyes and another video of me wiping the milkshake off of her, the attachments were followed by a message from Crystal

I was shocked at what she called me but I forgot all about that once I remembered those pictures. We really are perfect.
