"Bye baby, do something productive today!"

"I will. I love you bye"

"I love you too"

I closed my apartment door after saying my goodbyes to Tyler for the day. I got to my car and saw my reflection in the car window. I couldn't find my white heels that would go perfectly with this baggy brown suit I had on so I went with the cactus jack Jordan's. I got in my car and drove to work.

"Ola!" Lily said to me from behind her desk

"Hey hey, how are you?"

"I'm doing good, the real question is how are YOU?"

"I'm okay lol why'd you ask me like that?"

"Well I heard you left Damsons place really late...did something happen?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows

"huh? Wa penga?"

"No it's just a question" she said to me while putting her arms up in surrender

"Well it's dumb and who told you that?"

"I have my sources" she said while tapping the side of her head

"Damson?"

"Yeah"

"You could have just said him there really was no secret there lol"

"I know I just didn't wanna tell you, anyway what did you guys do?"

"Watched disney plus, ate a lot of food and played some games. It was nothing serious"

"Don't forget we also listened to music and danced in our matching outfits" Damson said while walking to lilys desk

"Oh yeah forgot about that..." I said lowly getting a little nervous

"Matching outfits? Let me see!" Lily said while standing up now

Damson opened his phone and of course he had pictures and videos. He showed Lily a picture of us laying on the couch while pouting at the camera. We were actually really close, I got nervous and grabbed Damsons phone from Lily so she couldn't see more.

"Okaaayyyyyy that's enough, Damson let's go!" I said to him and handed him his phone

"See you at lunch Lily" Damson said to her and she winked

We stood in the elevator and it was silent.

"Yini le?" (What was that?)

"Nchumu" (nothing)

"Wahemba" (you're lying)

"Mina? Haii" (me? nooo)

"Khani you good?"

"mmhm" I hummed and looked at the ground

"Did something happen with Tyler once you left?"

"no"

"What did you do when you got home?"

"Showered then slept"

"Alone?"

"No"

"Noted."

The elevator finally opened and I walked out first really fast and walked into my office and closed my door. I let out a deep heavy breath that I didn't know I was holding in. I held my heart and wondered why I was feeling this way, so flustered, so worried...is this guilt? But for what? I didn't do anything but those picture's say otherwise

"SHIT!" I whisper yelled in my office and sat down behind my desk

I sat there and tried to work but I just couldn't do anything. I sat behind my desk which was really messy with art supplies and papers until 1pm hit.
