"Okay ladies we're here" Damson said as we all got out of his car

The music being played inside the club sounded familiar, almost like it was from Africa. I started to think and realised they were playing a South African song. I was so confused because I thought America did not play anything foreign especially South African.

"This clubs pretty cool their playing South African music" I said

"Yeah it's not just just any club it's an af-" Damson was interrupted by me

"DAMSON IS THIS AN AFROBEATS CLUB AS IN WEST EAST AND SOUTHERN AFRICAN MUSIC?"

"Yeah it is"

I decided to send Tyler the address.

I put my phone away and started screaming on the sidewalk and shook in place as I was so excited. I have always dreamt of going to an afrobeats party, I was more excited because this was in America! You can find these in London easily from what I've heard but in America it's rare as fuck so I was excited!

"Damson! How did you even find this place?"

"Well when I moved here I was a little home sick so I went on Twitter and asked if there were any afrobeats clubs you know so I can be around other Africans, I used to go to these when I lived in the UK but anyway some random people told me about this place, so I came to check it out and I immediately loved it, I feel like I'm in South London again"

"Woooowwww well I'm glad you found this place and brought me here because I was becoming a little homesick"

"Well no problem, i just figured you'd like this place because you're African and it's good to be around your people sometimes you know"

"Yeah true"

Damson was actually a really cool guy. I had no idea he was so close to his roots, that's really beautiful and wholesome. As we were getting closer to the entrance my smile couldn't stop growing bigger and bigger. I don't think I've ever been this excited before.

"Okay but like why didnt you tell me we were going to an afrobeats party? I wouldn't have come looking like a slut!"

"it was a surprise I should have said something chill tho not gonna lie but it's okay you look amazing regardless so you're good"

"Yeah whatever" I rolled my eyes and smirked at him

We finally got into the club and it didn't look like a typical club. It had orange and red lighting, it was on a rooftop so there were no Windows, it was outdoors and we could see a beautiful view of LA's nightlife. The stars was shining above us. The venue was decorated with plants and had a tropical Caribbean kind of theme going on. Everyone was black, mixed or basically not white. I don't know why but I felt at home here.

"Khanani this place is beautiful" Crystal said to me

"I know right, it's actually been a dream of mine to go to an afrobeats club, it really is something I imagined"
