Chapter 40

"You think it's gonna hurt?" I said to Tyler

"To be honest I don't know...let me ask my mom" Tyler said to me

We were in the hospital going for my first ultrasound, it's been two weeks since we found out we're pregnant. I sat on the bed and Tyler stood next to me talking to his mom on the phone.

"Momma do ultrasounds hurt?" Tyler said into the phone

"Why would you want to know?" She asked

"I'm just curious" he said not wanting to tell her the good news

"Well they don't. The gels just cold" she said

"Oh okay bye" he said into the phone

"Bye?" She said confused

Tyler ended the call and went to his camera. He started recording everything he was so happy.

"Wassup niggas so we're about to see the lil nigga I'm excited and she's excited right?" He said into the camera and looked at me

"Ecstatic!" I said while smiling

"Exactly anyway mrs doctor is pulling up and she looks like she doesn't take shit so let's see if my theory is true or not" Tyler said in his stupid tv show host voice

"Can you stop talking like that?" I said to Tyler

"No ha ha ha" he said still in the voice

"Hi you must be the new couple, Mr and Mrs Okonma" she said smiling

Tyler squeled when she said that and I smiled to myself. We really need to get used to that.

"That's us" Tyler said in his stupid show voice

"Well I'm Dr Park Su-Bin but you can call me Dr Park" she said smiling

"Nice to meet you, okay I have a couple questions firstly will the ultrasound hurt?" Tyler asked in his normal voice

"Nope. The gel is just a little cold" she reassured him

"cool" he said smiling

"Khanani is it?" She asked

"Yes"

"Please lay down on the bed and lift up your shirt, it's time to check on the baby's growth" she said

I did as she said and waited for the gel, she put it on and it was not as cold as I thought. She put the scanny thing and rubbed it on my belly looking for the little baby.

Tyler suddenly gasped and showed his camera to the tv as we saw a little ball type thing pop up.

"Is that it?" Tyler asked

"Yes your baby is still very small so come back after 2 months to check on the growth" she said happily

"Is it Okay? Like is there any problems?" Tyler asked

"No sir, I know you're nervous but please trust the process. Is this your first kid?" She asked

"Yes" he said still looking at the monitor taking pictures

"I can tell, well you two are a lovely couple I'm sure your baby will be happy to have you two as parents. Congratulations" she said while wiping the gel off my stomach.

"Thank you Dr Park" I said to the woman

She smiled at me and lead us out. Tyler and I were walking back to his car and smiling happily at the thought of our child. We got to his car and drove home.

3 MONTHS LATER

"Look Tyler I'm growing" I said with amazement

"You're getting fat" he said while laughing
