Chapter 20

Amy put Lyndy in her pram while Ty put a Harness on Shadow then went for a walk around there own small race track which had the Jumping Arena in the middle.
Jack had been arguing his point about Ashley coming over,  the exact words she said to Ty, even though he wasn't in the barn and how she was trying to steel him away from Amy who had finally allowed herself to get to know another man, and how they were becoming very close. In the end Val realised Ashley was probably trying to get back at Amy for upsetting her.
Marion had kept quiet,  Just listening.
Then Val looked out the window.
"Oh there's Amy pushing the pram".
"Probably can't get Lyndy to go to sleep ".
"Is that the young man she's got close to".
Marion then decided to walk in from the direction of the bedrooms.
"Yes, that's Ty, he's actually been helping her since she came back from the hospital after they found her, he was really good, starting with her getting used to seeing him around and if she became uncomfortable he'd move away, he was very patient and it took weeks before Amy got used to him".
"Oh hello Marion, I take it he works for you".
"He works for us, he helps me then goes with Jack to the herd".
"Yeah he's a fast learner to, wants to learn all about Cattle ranching and he's doing a good Job".
"Do you know I haven't held my Granddaughter yet, probably my fault  for arguing with her about the baby's surname".
"Be best to let that go Val, Amy's not going to change her mind on that one and it will make things worse for you".
"Yeah, that's a beautiful horse Marion, is it a clients or for sale".
"Oh no Val, that's Amy's new Jumper, has a fine Pedigree, an anonymous buyer bought it for her as a gift for her after what happened, he also bought one for a young teenager as well from a load of horses that were rescued,  Scott kept it close to his chest about what was going on".
"Oh, is she getting back into Show Jumping then".
"Eventually Val, there's a lot of training to do first for both Amy and the horse".
"What's the horses name".
Marion and Jack knew what Val was up to, but without a good rider which Ashley wasn't the horse wouldn't win".
"What's the horses name Marion ".
"You forgotten already Dad, it's Shadow".
"Oh yeah".
"As Amy seems busy would you tell her I apologise please Marion ".
"Yes of course Val".
Val left and drove off, but as she drove away she stopped, then a few seconds later drove off again.

As Amy and Ty got back to the Barn Lyndy was fast asleep and they'd had a really good talk. Ty put Shadow in the cross ties for Amy so she could brush him while Amy put Lyndy in the office.
While they were having a kiss and hug Marion walked in and saw them in the office so went past quickly to grab the clients horse she was working with today, when Amy and Ty heard the clip clop of hooves they quickly separated.
"I'd better get up to the herd, see you later".
"Yeah okay, see ya later".
